First time posting here. Strange experience I had

I never been to this forum but I found this today and figured this would be the only place that can relate to my story.

I had an episode of sleep paralysis which is common for me. I went through the tunnel and come out on the other end on what looked like some kind of lab setting in a huge building, with lots of people there working. They were attending to other people like me who were just coming in. This looked absolutely real, like waking life, and this is coming from someone who is familiar with lucid dreaming. Anyway the whole thing gave me a strange vibe, like people were just being used for something. I started asking what this place was and all that and the rest is fuzzy and I can't remember much. Although I do sort of remember some of it and the rest started to evolve into typical dream scenarios where, some people were coming after me and the worker who was explaining the whole thing.

What do you guys make of this? A part of me thinks this was a real place somehow but the other is telling me it's just a dream.

 The first time I Astral Traveled I ended up in a huge white building also, but this was an Astral School. I was sitting in a wood chair, there was a teacher, blackboard and behind that was an enormous rotating vortex. It was not a dream, I was consciously aware during the entire event. I wrote about it immediately afterwards in my log and on this site.
