wel I a m a very blunt person, this was probably the reason for this. My reasoning for AP is not just for something cool. I have a spritual struggle that I am trying to sort out. I'm not looking for whether or not to believe in my christian beliefs, but to see if there is a little bit different of a story then I am told and led to believe.

I like that! I think that questioning beliefs is always good! [  ] Especially the beliefs "taught into you" by others. There is one truth, but many different interpretations of that truth... I had a similar experience as well, but it was a voice and not a sign that told me I was not ready. But it was implying that I was not ready for a certain area and not astral projection in general. No time to give details now. If you are questioning your beliefs I think Robert Bruce has a good article on this. Look on the main page, www.astralpulse.com for a link to it. |

X-Wolf, Maybe the appearance of the sign or message for some people may come from their own fear. We do create many things until we are well practiced, I used to sub-consciously create white fogs so I didn't have to look at or remember something. Just a thought! Not being ready for something that you are doing? To be doing it would suggest that you are very ready, so what else could be holding you back? quote:

Well said Nagual. You understand that beliefs are a poor sustitute for Experience, and that's a huge step for anyone. Not sure about there being only one Truth. I've read and heard it many times and it never has resonated in me. I feel there is The Truth which encapsulates many, many things. And your suggestion to "make your own", is one of those truths. It tells us the fact that we are the creators of our experience. Love Always.[ ] |

In fact I remember a "you are not ready" experience too... I was having a lucid dream and I ran into 3 monks. One of the monk told the others: "He is not ready yet" then he touched me and I instantly woke up. Damn monk, I was having fun in my dream!!! [  ][ ] Anyway, it did not stop me from continuing... |

I vaguely remember that when they said that I was losing energy ( that was actually heard, the rest was a sign ) it said I was losing alot of energy through my head. Which was odd cause I was using a method of drawing up energy, flowing it around me, then the bad stuff out the head. Make sense? I don't understand how I'd be losing the energy....I haven't really had the oppurtunity to try again lately, school and work but I'll be trying again soon!
