So, last night I started to have a lucid dream, and I began to repeat awareness now, awareness now until the dream scenery disappeared. And it did but all of a sudden I couldn't see anything. Everything was dark, but I didn't feel like I was in the void, it felt like somewhere. So I repeated clarity now, clarity now, but nothing became clear. It still appeared I was in a dark nowhere. After a few more clarity now's I got scared and returned to my body.

A few questions

Next time this happens should I command a place or person or concept I want to visit?

Im interested in visiting the BST or other places where non earth bound spirits are existing in. From what I've read you go to where your energy takes you so to speak. Is that correct or is there more to it? Can you visit anywhere in the astral just by commanding it?

It sounds like you might have really had absolutely NO Intent placed when you did that.  So everything faded away into nothing.
Next time, have an Intent for what you want to do.

Intent.  Intent is everything.  Everywhere.

Thanks for the quick response Xanth, and that makes sense. It's odd because I've been having lucid dreams when I'm not expecting them lately. And last night before I feel asleep I said to myself, do I want to go through my affirmations? And I decided not to because I've been sick lately and I need my sleep.

Anyways, I do think that a part of me wasnt into it last night and so my experience reflected my desire.

Adding to what Xanth said, this does sound to me like a Void experience. The missing component was your Intent; that is, an active declaration of it, as you have guessed correctly. The Void is a "place" in the sense that it is a repeatable experience or condition that allows you the opportunity to do at least a couple things: either float comfortably and peacefully and enjoy the quiet, or express an Intent to go somewhere or visit somebody or experience something such as a lesson.

You say that you didn't have a great motivation to do anything or go anywhere and that's fine, but obviously the prior work you have done has brought you to this Void experience and that is not an insignificant thing. The Void is a great experience to be aware of, you may find yourself there more than once; you had the proper realizations about what this state can offer you. This was likely a test and a lesson if you think about it.

It is all about Intent.

It's one of those 'When you least expect it, expect it' kind of tests...Welcome to school! More will follow.

Nicely done.

Thanks for your response Escape Velocity, I'm working on my intent right now and I'm thinking about a few possibilities. Reuniting with old friends, family and pets, meeting my higher self or visiting some obscure astral domain in the heavens all sound like worthy journeys  grin

Meeting my higher self may present some extra challenges if what I've read is true. That being when you visit your higher self you have to go like a thousand million miles per an hour in an upward thrusting motion. Not sure I could make the trip. But then again I didn't even know what Astral Projection was three years ago.

Declaring an intent to meet your Higher Self may not necessarily involve rocketing skyward at incredible speeds; that's just one interpretation of the movement or change in frequency required.

With that said, yes, I lost control many times when I went skyward at warp speed. Lol You get better with practice.

Always know that you are safe, so go forward into these adventures with absolute fearlessness.
