My experience: i think it takes time to get back

I tell ya, that was probably my BIGGEST fear when I first started projecting.  It's especially scary when you're flying at light speed in a DOWNWARD direction, because you start wondering if you're going to SMACK into a hard surface.

One time, I got freaked out because I thought, "Oh no....I'm going down.  Down?  Down=Hell.  Hell!  AGGGHHHHHH!!"

However, the more experiences you have flying in the void like this, the more you learn to TRUST them.  Now, whenever this happens, I do two things:

1) As I'm flying, I reaffirm to myself that everything is ok, nothing is going to happen, and just to relax

2) I imagine myself slowing down, slowly....slowly....until I finally imagine my feet touching ground and my site kicking in.  Sure enough, it works every time now.

Best of luck.....I know it can be scary but you'll start to overcome that soon.

And what is this place where you have wet foot at last after that bursting. What plane ?
To come back, it really takes as much time as going there ? How can you get back then ?
To be honest i do not afraid it, i just dont want to die or hurt my physical body. For me i feel no fear at all if i know that i can get back in a second, but i think its not possible becouse i am going there with maximum speed and its not logical that i can get back just in a second.

I think you will have to find it on your own... and you will have to take "risks".  I had also false awakenings ( up to 4 nested!! ).  I agree that it can be a little scary.  Once, I also had a little fight with "someone" who attacked me.  At one point I grab her and... bam!  I am in the void, holding her while she rockets at an incredible speed to an unknow direction...  After a while, I feel like going through some kind of barrier and hear like a low deep "Booooonnnngggg" in my head.  At this point, I get a little scared to go to some place from where I would not be able to come back; so I released her and... woke up.

The unknown can be scary... but it can be fun/amazing too!  It's a bit like people staying most of their time in the safety of their house, watching TV and almost never going outside...  I can't.  I really need to open the door and see the world outside!  []

Forgot to add that the notion of time in the Astral is tricky...  Personaly, 99% of the time I am back in my body too early and almost instantly when it ends "naturaly".  When I decide to end it, it can take a few seconds and a lot of effort; especialy when I am in a fight and when the attacker(s) hold on me, forcing my consciousness to stay focused on them.

Ou yea thats really hard if some neg is drowning your astral body, but i never scare and i always come out. Sometimes i open my eyes but cant get my astral body back into and then i am like dead body who can see but not to move and becouse i am still in trance i can see very well how these damn scary negs look like, floating around my body (damn thay are ugly [)] ). I have met with negs while bursting away too but that hasnt been a problem becouse then i just think about power of light [8D]

When False Awakening i have been so scared, frightened, shocked like never before in physical world and so about 15 seconds ahead [xx(][B)] It really leaves a little trauma for some time but i dont afraid it, if then i just worry becouse i dont want to hurt my physical body

Obviously it isn't if you're so far away and can still open your eyes instantly.  Hmmmm  fun to think about.

I read some more and talked with people and i think the speed is no problem when you want to come back, becouse you can just teleport yourself.
Just sometimes the speed limit is speed of light when you dont know where you are you fliyng to or wanna to fly to the place where you have never been and to not to go to wrong place you then have to burst with speed of light only []
I still recommand that when you fly so far then always set your mind upon your own physical body whats lying in your room, dont forget him [|)]

Many times i have started to burst away like rocket. Today minutes ago i had an experience again. This time i was bursting away again. Feeling was so fast that i started to feel my lips like numb because of the bursting speed. I always think that yes, i fly with maximum speed, with the speed of light and i can fly no faster, so how can i get back with no time when i open my eyes ?
So i started to worry a bit again and wanted to get back to my body, but then i saw like an ending of the tunnel ( i was flying in the space i think, part of the time through little white spots (mabye not stars becouse they are big you know []) when that end came i realized its not the end, so i did not wanted to risk with my health and tried to open my eyes:

I started to open my eyes and i opened them but it was hard to start to feel my body and i still felt bursting like a rocket. I opened my eyes felt my body what was still a bit weird and then when i started to think what to do next i saw my mother to come in with paper and tell me to write it all down and she put the paper and the pen onto table, then i realized. It was FALSE AWAKENING.
(the start of the False Awakening when i woke up from AP was so real that its hard to beleave that i am not sleeping right now too [xx(] )

NOW i woke up and whelt by body numb as normally after AP (numb till i move it)
I think it really takes time to get back

THE REASON WHY I AM WRITEING THIS: I think i really flew to somewhere with the maximum possible speed of my astral body abd the false awakening came becouse it took time to fly back.

I have been bursting off before too but then i made it to the astral world with about 10 seconds. Other times when i start bursting when i think about something nice duering AP, for examle Angels or higher planes, i start bursting off. I have been bursting many minutes ahead but i never make it to the place, just cosmos, becouse i start worring and stop it. WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF i go too far and cant get back ? [V] To where i am bursting, what is it waiting for me there.
