 Hello everyone!
I am new here, sorry if i posted it on the wrong section!  grin
So six days ago i tried to astral project with no success because i fall asleep but in my sleep i was in a semi-lucid dream state and in my dream ( if you need more details about the dream i will write them)i falled with my back on the ground and then i started "vibrating" and felt like i was floating , i tried to "get out" but i woke up. I was a bit curious to what happend but i said to my self to see if it will happen again and then ask for help.
Today i was again in a semi-lucid dream state and in my dream i laid down to try and astral project , then i again started "vibrating" and again felt like i was floating and for a split second i opened my eyes in my astral body saw my room and then i returned to my physical body (i dont know how i did it tongue ).
And now here are my questions:

1) Is this a astral projection technique?

2) How can i move my astral body?

and

3) When i first started trying to astral project i felt the "vibrations" now when i try to astral project i dont feel any "vibrations" , am i doing something wrong or?

Any help would be appreciated!  smiley

1) Sure, when you are in the lucid dream you are already in the astral territory. There is a scale to the experience that seems to be mostly related to your awareness level. I don't know if the astral body objectively exists, it seems like it could just be a figment of how you expect the experience to go.

I have attempted to astral project from a dream before more than once. Interestingly on some of these occasions I was not aware that I was already asleep and dreaming. When I tried to astral project I saw rapid flashes of images and scenes for a second and then I was standing in outer space - I woke up shortly afterwards.

I have never had another astral experience that involved these flashing images, but I know that other people do. I think I just saw them because it was what my subconscious mind expected to see.

2) I think the ability to move is easier the deeper you are immersed in the scenario. When I am in a solid dream I have no trouble moving. I only struggle when I am on the borderline of waking up. Try cementing your experience first - spinning in a circle is the best thing I have found for maintaining the experience.

3) I don't feel vibrations much any more either. I think they are a symptom of being "in between" realities. Early on you lurk there because your mind's ability to change is slow and steady. Once you become more comfortable and drop all the fear and reservation you tend to slip straight into another reality with barely anything in between.

ThaomasOfGrey,

A side question: When you transitioned from your dream to outer space, how would you describe it? Were you floating above the Earth or a planet; were there other planets nearby, or was it just you floating in a sea of stars or blackness?

It was as if I was standing on an invisible platform a good distance away from a group of planets, with stars in the background. I didn't recognize any of them as being distinctly related to this solar system. The most vivid planet I remember looks a little bit like Jupiter or Mars with that rusty color. I don't remember much more than a few instants being there, I believe I woke up shortly after arriving.

I have also experienced an area of blackness before that was very different to what I just described. The first time I was consciously aware of the entire separation process I went through this weird in between zone. It was immersive blackness, and I lost sense of where my body was but I could see rapid firing of bright stars fading in and out. At the time the experience made me think of manually tuning a TV when you go in between stations. It was a "static" zone.

This is the description I was looking for and it is clear that, in this instance, you found your way briefly into what is commonly referred to as the Void or the 3D Blackness/Darkness.

This is a "location" within the NP, or more clearly, a state of consciousness that you can find yourself in from time to time, so you should be aware of it; it helps in building your "map" of the NP. Like you correctly assessed, the Void is a neutral zone, like being in-between channels, with no outside input (mostly), no stimuli to distract you.

I imagine the Void can be accessed in a number of ways but I have always done it rather inadvertently, when coming out of a dream; if my awareness can hold that critical balance of not waking completely and not being pulled back into another dream. If there is no underlying Intent or desire to do something else, then it is like kicking your awareness into neutral and just coasting for awhile. With no input from outside ourselves and no output from within, we find ourselves in that "immersive blackness", a blackness that has a kind of texture or depth or three-dimensional quality to it.

The Void can be a great place to relax in, very peaceful to simply float there, not thinking. Some people can experience music of their choice or their making and it can be pretty spectacular, from what I've read. Some have simply asked questions of the darkness and received clarifying responses. You can also use the Void as a jumping-off point, in nearly any direction you can think of: all it takes is to form an Intent within your mind and while holding that thought, stare into the darkness until some part of the texture begins to change and you should soon start to feel as if you are being pulled in that direction and a transition should quickly occur. If you also see pinpoints of light or stars, one of these may catch your attention and pull you. Chances are you will be treated to a great adventure!

Sounds awesome, I will keep an eye out for that state in the future. It has been a rare one for me so far.
