something tried to help me get out

It might be possible that no one was actually helping you out. You could of just been feeling the energies. It was not until after I read people describing the energy like someone grabbing or touching them that I started paying attention to it when I was trying to project. I was actually surprised at how much it does feel like someone is grabbing your feet and legs, or where ever.

at first i thought it was my spirit guide but then i remebered that this was the third voice from the astral that i have heard w/in a two week period and i started to think if i had  aguide it would  be an appointed one .. right? so i thought maybe that all three of these voices were just passser bys.

Not at all dear, I have several. They work as a group and call themselves "The Brothers."

There's another group calling themselves "Michael."

The upper level ones were appointed to you long ago, before this life time, and likely have been with you for several lifetimes. I know for a fact mine have.

Sure you're going to bump into some passers by on the astral. But your guides may be multiple. You'll just have to wait until you meet them OBE to find out. Most likely you'll remember them on-sight. I did.

i had my first obe lst night .. unfortunately it was after i fell asleep. i had been doing some energy and trance work for about forty five minutes and had been trying to project for about fifteen minutes w/ no success. i fell asleep and woke up halfway out and went w/ it. everything was very fuzzy and i barely remember it.. i projected backwards and couldnt stop moving at first. when i did i immediately re entered on the advice of ad. i fell asleep and woke up about an hour later halfway out again. this time i tensed up my neck and was stuck around the neck chest area. i tried to relax as best i could but it wasnt working. i felt somthing grab my toes. it felt like a hand. i knew it was a hand .. idunnno how i just did. i wasnt freaked out about this because ihad a similiar exp before. (see my previous post for more detail it's titled...long post extr. wierd and vivid exp,  or something like that.) the hand moved down and grabbed hold of my ankle. it started gently tugging on me. i felt it was trying to help so i went w/ it. i tried to relax but my neck tensing up prevailed once again. another hand grabbed my other ankle and i heard a mans voice counting to three... at the end of three  the voice said "out". it was an extremely friendly voice and thewhole experience felt good. unfortunately i didnt project because my neck was still tense. the rest of my body was out though. i've had this same neck problem for a while and knew that i wasn't going to be able to project at that time so i thanked whoever it was that was trying to help me and went back to sleep. maybe this will give a little hope to and make projection less fearful for us novice projectors.
