Theta waves? People or money/abundance, healing trauma

 Is anyone going into theta waves? For healing or to find something you are looking for? (such as money or people) 

I sometimes use theta waves to heal trauma or emotions, does anyone try this? I was under theta waves and remembered crying in the crib as a baby, it wasn't intentional, must have been in my subconscious mind and surfaced for some healing reason. I also sense that if I am trying to heal, I'm in a lush garden or on an astral beach.

I don't know why listening to theta waves would make you get external things like money or job opportunities.  I have used binaurals for healing and report that they worked for their intended purpose (but nothing magical) per se.
Now, I am a believer of the connection between the subconscious, superconscious and manifestation, and believe that possibly autohypnosis can help get you in the right state where you really believe you are worthy of these things, opening up your ability to manifest these- but I don't know what theta waves have to do with this.

Hi,
 Theta waves are supposed to represent what exactly in their native state?
 So added sonic manipulation resonates these waves to achieve a purpose?
Theres a lot of hype with all these waves, different names etc.
 I am not in a position of expertise in this but am very aware of the 'priore' frequencies and a machine to boot.
Can these simple names at least be placed in some heirarchical order or meaning? These things were unheard of way back, when things were black and white.
Im sure there are a few beginners out there this info would help.
