Weird Experiences. . .[anyone have opinions?]

When I described what happened to me I was told it was astral projection, so I will attempt to explain in as much detail as I can remember, and maybe some of you can tell me what's going on.

The first time was about two years ago, I was out of town. I laid down, getting ready to go to sleep and right at the moment before your body/mind slips into the full sleep mode/unconsciousness I started shaking from the inside, something like vibrating, however, I couldn't move nor could I speak. The next thing I know I could see what was going on in my home hundreds of miles away. This lasted for a few moments then I was able to move. I sat up and called a friend, then I went to sleep normally, the next morning I called my sister who was at my home and asked her if what I saw happened. She said it had. Every detail was correct.
From then on when I would feel the vibrating I'd get scared and fight it. I can't control when it comes, but I can choose not to slip into whatever it is that happens—most of the time.
A year ago while in New York, the vibrating begun, I was fighting, only difference my eyes were open and in a mirror I could see a lady. She was as dark as a silhouette but I could make out features. Then again I could see what was going on in my home in California. The next morning I told my mom "Robert got new furniture" and sure enough he called later and told her he had gotten new furniture.
I assume my mind  knew to fight all this time, because not too long ago [the night of 8-14-11] I was on my way to sleep, and again at the moment before unconsciousness the vibrating began, I couldn't move, couldn't speak. The previous times I was sleeping alone, however this time my baby sister slept with me, and I was holding her hand. For some reason when I was fighting to go I had to fight harder, and longer I kept hearing a voice saying "I want the baby" over and over again. And again my eyes were open, I could see my baby sister, I could feel her hand. And in my thoughts I kept seeing this face, which now I can't describe but I remember, it's just difficult to describe.

Is this some form of astral projection? If not does anybody know what's going on? It doesn't happen often, so I refuse to believe I suffer from some type of mental illness.

Help; please.

 It sounds like a classic case of OBE. You should find out why you have been "chosen". I use the word chosen because I have had many involuntary OBE's in my life and have ignored them. Just last year the frequency of these upped itself quite a bit. I had some extremely unusual events occur, when I finally gave in and started practicing phasing, the events stopped. I feel that everyone here should know that there is no coincidences in life! Everyday now, more new people are coming to this site with the same symptoms/stories. It's time we admit that there is really a reason behind this. I know that alot of people here are "Science Technical" in their analysis, but you can see the proof yourself now.

The thing is I'm scared, especially after this last one with the voice saying it wanted the baby, which I'm assuming meant my sister.

Don't be scared. The first times I projected it was against my will and I fought it too. I used to hear and see the scariest stuff but once you lose your fear the "stuff" goes away. The fear manifests itself. It could be your imagination trying to make sense of your fear and creating sounds and images. It could be lower forms messing with you (they are easy to shoe away). Or it could be something positive and you're just afraid of it (i.e. maybe it was your guide speaking and wanting you and your sis to project together?). So don't fret. Relax when it happens and know that you have all the power. Also don't get frustrated if you can't control it or understand your experiences all the time. It really can be a wonderful experience. I still can't fully control what I do or understand what I see. This is a great web site for support but also know that many things you might read that other people can see and do might not be your experiences, it's a very personal thing. Enjoy your own journey. And if you are out and calm the next time ask for your guide, or guidance in general, and a helpful soul might give you some clarity.

 One of the first experiences I had with Astral Travel was enough to make anyone quit. I went there and was looking around and I thought to myself "what am I supposed to do now?". Just then I heard the words Die, Die, Die. That literally spooked the hell out of me. But, the next day I was back in the Astral. I never did figure out why that happened and honestly I don't think I want to know. It could have been another "Test" to see how serious I am about Phasing. The voice was quite eerie and dramatic.

Fill yourself with love, fill your sister with love...if anything/anyone scares you try send them love/fill them with love and see what happens.
