Hi everyone! First time here Smiley
I've been practicing AP for the last couple of days. Today I got the closest so far.
I usually start by doing some energy work, raising energy and stimulating the chakras. After a few minutes my physical body gets numb and I feel my energy body instead - like a tingling sensation. It always starts in the lower limbs, then moves to the torso and upper limbs. The head is a hard one.
Next, I try to visualize and feel myself falling and after a while I feel my energy body loosening and I feel as if I'm twice the size.
Then, I visualize and feel myself floating in the air, 2 meters above my physical body, facing down and looking down at myself. This helps the double loosen up more and I feel the vibrations getting over me. My heart starts racing like crazy and I could feel my body starting to separate and elevate except my neck and my head! That part of the body always keeps me stuck.
I have a hard time focusing on being already out long enough for the exit to actually happen. It takes a strong concentration to do that. I know how it feels when my head starts to detach because the images behind my closed lids start to change and the ringing noise in my head gets higher and louder. Today it happened just for a few seconds and then went back to the start. I figured I wasn't concentrationg hard or long enough. I keep losing focus and going back to the physical when trying to send myself to the roof of the bedroom.
So, why is the head so hard to project? What can be done to help?
I have this painful muscular tension in the back of my neck and head. I think it keeps me focusing on the physical there because I get unconfortable and need to adjust the position of the head. But I've had this issue with the head before, so it might also be something else.

Keep saying to yourself I can easily get my head out.  Keep saying it every day even if you find it still hard to get your head out.  It is probably on your mind that it is hard to do so it becomes very difficult.  It has happened to me a long time ago but it was not my head.  I eventually got out but it was a struggle.  Now it is extremely easy to get out.  I always tell myself that it is very easy to get out.  That works for me.
