Now I can say with certainty that I have felt the vibrations and the buzzing noise.
It happened about a half hour ago. It's 5:57 in the am. I was dreaming after I had awakened at 4 o'clock. I took some galatamine to help me lucid dream. I was having trouble getting back to bed and fell into a dream. I dreamed I was with my ex wife and thought she was about to approach me. I then thought she started to slap me and it got harder and I became semi- conscious and realized it wasn't slapping, it was vibrations. Wow, were they intense. I thought I was prepared for them, I was not. I had the buzzing noise also. I tried to wait it out, but I kind of chickened out. Although I was angry at myself, I was also excited that I had the vibrations for the first time.
I have the feeling I'll be feeling them again very soon. That is all. I just thought I would share.

Yeah, I wish I would've held out. Once I realized they were the vibrations, I calmed down and tried to let it ride and then I thought of the entity that has been with me for 2 years and I wasn't ready to face it, though I think I should've, but I just ended up opening my eyes. Like I said, I was both excited and dissapointed. Then I went back to sleep and a hand grabbed my astral hand and took me down a tunnel, more like I was free falling head first, but I just road that out with not much fear, then came to a hall way and then woke up again.
Strange, strange!!

Did they erupted suddenly or they built themselves up. Slowly?
What about your heart? You heard your heart? loudly? mildly?

Like I said I thought I was being slapped, then I thought I was being slapped harder, and thought it was the entity slapping me outside my body, while I was still in sleep mode, but conscious. That is when I realized it was vibrations, as soon as that realization took place, the buzzing noise in my ears started, I was a little nervous, but tried to remain calm. after all, I've been wanting to do this for almost a year(despite having an entity attached). I started to think of the entity and I think it was this thought that woke me up.
I've been warned I shouldn't do this till I rid myself of the entity, but you have to remember, I was sleeping, with idea of lucid dreaming, not to astral travel. I just got William Buhlmans book and cd's, so that could've helped me. I must say I'm so,so, so impressed with this book. much more so than Robert Monroes book, "Journey's out of the body". William Buhlmans book is "Adventures beyond the body" both books were good, but this one is blowing me away, and I'm only 67 pages in...Wow!
To answer your question, I'd say they were abrupt. Even though I thought they were slaps and not vibrations, they came on quick and strong.

Awesome feeling huh. Stick with it a little longer and your heart Chakra will activate. Takes a couple times to get used to the vibes but keep at it. Congrats.

thats awesome, i remember my first vibrations too. also, similar to you, some content in my dream correlates to the vibrations. such as water rushing over me or something like that. so wonderful. and yes, it will only grow from there. from the first time i felt the vibrations things escalated to the pounding of my heart chakra, to floating in my dreams and then to leaving my body within a few months i think. good luck!

Some celestial event. No - no words. No words to describe it. Poetry! They should've sent a poet. So beautiful.

Hey, good for you! Don't beat yourself up for "chickening out." I've been "vibrating" for years and I was only able to project recently because I was having a bout of severe depression. (I'm better now -- it comes and goes, and I'm used to it.) Hang in there. I can now say from experience that you WILL live through the vibrations and they don't last forever. We "vibrate" every night, we're just not usually aware of it. Have fun!

Hmmmm... I haven't experience this OBE yet. But this "vibrations", I think I had, trice.. I felt something on my chest vibrating.. very intense at the same time I was having sleep paralysis. I was trying my best to scream so that my wife could hear me but I can't. for some reasons I just woke up after forcing myself to.. then went back to sleep then this intense vibration on my chest came back then noticing someone (a girl) was with me my room... I was so freaked out! then woke up again!. Well, I don't know if it was the "vibration" or if I was pretty close to making it happen (OBE)? I just started reading with astrals and stuffs and just read about "awakening" and the "purpose to life". Pretty cool and interesting reality about spirituality that we are here in the physical world to be awakened and to "learn / level up"..
Let's see where it would take me...

Some of my earliest vibration experiences were incredibly intense, to the point that I was worried they were damaging my physical body. They've faded away over the years though and now I hardly notice them. Damn, I miss them actually...
