Scheduled Meetings?

Actually i think this is a good idea. There doesn't seem to be much going on with API at the moment. I think it's basically because most peopel who are interested in it are still in the stages of trying to project. The people who can project there don't really get to see many people there, so it's not exactly priority any more.

But yeah your idea might actually work a lot better than people just randomly going there and hoping to run into somebody. I'm sure we would get a higher concentration of attempters and possibly a higher success rate because of that. Plus, with everybody trying at the same time, the ones who do get there could maybe help pull others out of their body (people have reported seeing others attempting to get there).

I'm interested in seeing where this goes.

I think they only see it as empty because they cant see the others. The island probably evolved in different directions and into separate islands. To go to the first island, look at the API picture instead of remembering where the island is.

So you think everyone made their own copy of the island then went to that then wondered why no one else was there?  No doubt I'll always use that picture to meditate on the island.  

Question though, does doing the above mean that the island would thus be immutable?  I.e., any mark I leave on the island to prove my presence will quickly fade away as soon as I leave as everyone asserts their idea of an island without that mark?

Certainally some people have probably created their own island.  I recall reading about a guy who kept going back and seeing 2 islands there.

I agree.  This is definitely what we need in order to get some confirmed meetings.

I really like this Astral Pulse Island idea, and it's going to be one of the first places I visit once (if) I learned to ap.  But seeing as there aren't that many people honed on this idea, meeting up with anyone at this moment would be iffy at best  All the posts I see describing the island describe it as empty.  And I'm sure most APers have better things to do than go to the Astral Island then sit there till they wake up.  So the only thing that makes sense (until there's millions of people visiting the island) is to have a day set aside (and preferable a time range) for people to make a point of trying to go to that island.  It would at least increase the chance of running into people.  I like the full moon idea.  Shooting around for the early morning hours, or around midnight would fit in most peoples scheduldes, as well as having several times since people live in different time zones.  And posting up a post reminding people about the meeting a few days before the full moon or whatever.

So is my idea feasible?  Or should we just leave it be and just hope we run into people.
