It was apparently semi-successful back when it was first introduced.
The people who worked on the project at the time have since moved on.

I still want to try to go there, but alas I can't control to where I go yet. And as soon as I am out of body, I forget completely about my plans.  grin

I met Frank Kepple on API! Either that or I'm crazy! grin

I entered the Phase once and stumbled upon a construct with a pyramid. He was there playing with some prisms in a workshop. Well, the character looked like him. Who knows...

I've been meditating lately with the expressed Intent of trying to contact Frank.

I've tried three times so far over the last couple weeks... here are my results.

1.  I was meditating, and I was in a rather light trance when I mentally asked "I would like to make contact with Frank Kepple, the Frank Kepple who posted on the Astral Pulse"... when I mentioned this, I felt a wave of warmness pass over me and I began to see a "shadow" appear in the blackness I was observing in front of me, I guess you could call it the "void".  It started to take a humanoid form, but then I lost it and came to.

2.  Nothing of real interest happened... my dogs were being jerks.  >_<  LoL

3.  This time I made the same request while in the same state of consciousness... I had the same "wave of warmth" come across me, but nothing else really happened.

So my first attempt, so far, would seem to be the best one.  I'm going to continue doing this until I get something, since I seem to be getting some interesting results with my consciousness more than anything else.

Wow. Keep us updated with your attempts, mate! Well done. I'll post here the experience I was talking about above as I think it's very appropriate for this thread:

"01/02/2011:

I was tired around 12.45am so I went to bed and fell asleep shortly after that. An unknown number rang Stacey’s mobile and I woke up. I got up, walked out of the bedroom and looked at the clock in the hallway. It was almost 3.10am and I felt primed for an OOBE. I used the toilet and went back to the bedroom. My mouth was a bit dry and I had heartburn so I took two indigestion tablets and drank some water. I stretched my limbs, rubbed my cold skin and took deep breaths before going back to bed around 4am. I lay on my back, closed my eyes, and tensed all possible muscles at the same for about half a minute before relaxing. Then I said to myself that the experience would be a positive one before I did my breathing exercises which usually help me to progressively relax. As I felt my body getting heavier I resumed normal breathing and didn't even focus on it. I started to focus on an imagined version of the lamp in my room. I could almost see it after a while. The intrusive thoughts came many times and every time I saw that I got 'lost', I'd bring my focus back to the imagined object. Eventually, the intrusive thoughts were becoming more vivid, more life-like.

I could see strange faces, places and even weird owl-faced humanoids looking at me at one point. This hypnagogic imagery captivated me and I forgot all about the imagined object. Before I pushed it all away, I remember being in a strange state for a few seconds where I saw objects that would have been familiar and made sense in the normal state of consciousness but, at that time, they didn't. I was ‘seeing’ them from a different perspective. On the other hand, that could have been some sort of lapse in logic which could have resulted from my disassociation efforts. It really is hard to describe but what I do know is that once I phased away from that perception, I sort of looked at those objects again and I thought "oh...so that is what they are" and it turned out to be furniture in a strange room. Suddenly darkness came and I could feel my physical body laying in bed and yet I was somewhat removed from it. I heard rumbling noises and experienced strong vibrations. They felt like mobile phone vibrations or as though electricity was flowing through the body and the voltage was gradually getting higher and higher to the point where it felt like something drilling into my spine. This almost hurt but I just let it happen. The vibrational state got so strong that I perceived my 'subtle self' becoming detached from a 'dead physical weight' as though all that vibrating kerfuffle had caused them to desynchronise. It was like I was shifting away from the body axis sideways on a pivotal point and when it felt like I had reached a 45° angle, I made a conscious effort to roll over and out.

Once I was out I was partially blind. I had a kaleidoscopic or fragmented vision of being in my dark bedroom and saw the light coming from the hallway. The bedroom door was ajar as I had left it before going to bed. I went to the hallway and mentally demanded that my vision be improved. It only improved slightly and the meta-reality that appeared to surround me shimmered as though I was seeing it through hot air. I looked at the mirror and it was absolutely non-reflective. I decided to run towards it and plunge into the darkness in order to go somewhere else. I remember feeling as though I had legs and feet stomping on a hard floor before reaching the mirror. Soon, I was shifting at high speed through the dark void. I was happy with the speed and the fact that I was actually going somewhere. But then I remembered that I hadn't actually wished to go anywhere. This annoyed me while I was gliding through that darkness. I started to think of several people I could visit but couldn't make up my mind. This indecision caused me to reflect on many thoughts. I thought of many friends I could visit and started to get visual glimpses of them looking at me with smiling faces and telling me that I could do it without actually saying it. Eventually I saw light ahead and ended up in a random place.

The room was large and I felt like I was in a museum at night. Light was coming from somewhere but I couldn't quite make out where from. Vision was pristine and objects and structures around me were highly defined and yet I couldn't identify any. I came out of that room and found myself at the top of a huge stairwell. I looked down and the height was unbelievable. The size of the overly wide steps made me feel miniscule and, as I began to descend, it felt like the number of steps was infinite and I would never reach the source of light that I could clearly see coming from below. I went round the well as I went downwards in an apparent spiral making me chase the light for ages. I don't know why I couldn't go any faster or just be there. Finally, at ground level, I came to an opening where I found a beach under a clear night sky. The sea was reflecting some kind of silver light but there was no moon and the stars seemed too far away. The sand had patches of grass and I could see the dark silhouettes of what looked like palm trees in the background. As I looked away from the beach and the sea, a massive pyramid cropped into view. It was a shock to me because I thought of API straight away. I wished to be inside the pyramid and teleported to what looked like a cross between the inside of a lighthouse and a workshop. There was a man there who wore glasses and a white tunic and he was fiddling with machinery on a table. He didn't notice me and I approached him to take a closer look at what he was doing. He suddenly raised what looked like prisms in his hands and he looked at them as though he was pleased and in awe of them at the same time. He never acknowledged my presence. I thought he looked like Frank Kepple. I wondered if it was him. I then found myself somewhere else which looked like a temple and I met other characters. This is where it gets vague. I know that a lot more happened but by that time the experience turned into a stubborn dream hell-bent on pushing me towards unconsciousness. The memory of its details escape me now. It's funny how I remember the stuff that happened before so well because it is as though my long-term memory is better than my short-term memory when OOBEs turn into dreams. I woke up feeling cold and thought about the experience for a while before going back to sleep."

In my continued pursuit of Frank...

I took a bit of my lunch hour today to meditate, because it was so peaceful and quiet here at work.

Anyway, this will be a very short report of this experience.  My goal during this meditation was to try and make some kind of contact with Frank Kepple.  It’s a side project I’ve been trying to find time to do lately.  Well, today I made contact with “something/someone”, but it was very brief.  I was asking mentally if Frank Kepple was around, focusing my Intent upon the picture we have of him on the Frank Kepple Phasing Resource page… and while I was doing this I heard a very distinct and very deep voice ask, “Who is this?”

Unfortunately, the phone rang here and I couldn’t pursue the voice in any way.  But it was definitely a voice, and it was 100% crystal clear just as if someone was standing right in front of me talking.  I’ll look into this further, hopefully I’ve stumbled upon something interesting.

Ahhhh, I met someone during an Ap once.
It was a time where I very quickly and unexpectedly had a projection while mentally waking up from a daytime nap.
I found myself wandering around my bedroom where I came upon a young man(he was a little shadowy with multi-coloured balls of spinning light throughout his body) sitting in a chair.
He had a bemused smile on his face and said"It's about time you came out to play"
Of course with me having limited experience in Ap's, this scared the heck out of me and I started flailing my arms at him to protect myself.  Very rapidly(because of fear) the AP ended, but since then I've been extremely curious to as who this man might have been.
Some have said that it's highly possible that he's my guide, as guides tend to have a bit of a quirky nature and would say something like what was said to me.  But I'm not really sure.

I met several times someone.

-I met some other astral travellers, and they told also about it.
-i met different kind of astral beeings. One funny encounter was:

I stood up and was on the way to toilet. I passed the door of my bedroom and feeled strange and intense sensations and dizzyness. I fell to floor, stood up, and the feelings where gone slowly. Then i went in the next room and i saw a fog "going" along. I focused on it, and it sharpens. A astral beeing. I was scared. It was a black men, who talked then with me. He said, he died in an barbecue accident. He had even still an sausage on his hat. Was some kind of funny.
