Would it be possible if I printed out a pic of API... stuck it to my wall, and when I come out of my body, I can stair at it and it would open up a "portal" to it? I've read that it can be possible to do this.

Has anyone tried something like this before? Did it work?

It's absolutely possible, much in the same way you can phase into a different location by focusing on a mental image in your mind's eye.

I have never actually stared at a picture and travelled into it, but having spent a lot of time in the nonphysical realm before, I know that this is something you could do (and I've read others who have done the same thing).

The most difficult part of changing locations is simply imagining where you're going. If anything, that is helpful. Give it a try.

I went through a framed picture that was hung in the lounge.  The picture was of an autumnal setting, very peaceful, lots of soft browns and pinks.  Trees, grassy banks, a nature scene.  

I was in the middle of one of my "traditional" OBEs and decided to attempt going through a picture, as I'd read about it and thought it sounded an excellent idea.
