I'm reading this book and think it's great. Having already read Dr Waldo Viera (Projections of the Consciousness) and Robert Monroe (Ultimate Journey), I definitely prefer William Buhlman's "Adventures beyond the body".
I like his writing style and the way he refrains from interpreting his experiences - the other writers tend to over anayse their astral experiences by creating specific structures for the astral plane and even new language for it. William's narrative appeals to the ordinary reader, and he also backs his theories with quantum physics. I know some people here said that's the boring bit, but the way I understand it, William thinks it is important for us to understand the quantum world in order to understand the make up of the universe, which should help us as we go OOB.
I hope the ending is as good as the beginning!
