The Art Of Astral Projection by Steve G. Jones - Clinical Hypnotherapist is a complete Astral Projection program including a 23 disc audio program and several books as well as a few bonus audio files including binaural beats.

I have been given a free copy of this entire program (~199.00 retail) for the purposes of reviewing it on my website Spirit-Quest and also wish to share here and the new Astral Society.  As luck would have it, the publisher in charge of this program actually knew who I was when I had made the request, and had remembered my work on the old Astral Society and from here, and was eager to help me acquire it to review for you guys!

Since there is so much material to cover, I will post in segments my thoughts as I have a chance to progress through each module, rather than to post it all in one at the end.  I am so excited to check this out!! And I should mention there is also a free Beginners Guide To Astral Projection available there as well, which includes an audio portion as well:

It took me awhile to download all of the modules... with exception to the two e-books, they are ALL audio files (Mp3).  I was given access to the electronic version of the kit, but you can also purchase the full physical kit.

Here is what the 'kit' consists of:

14 Discs in total for the Explorations Beyond The Body - The discs contain audio lessons and exercises, most of which involve hypnosis / visualization techniques that Steve Jones walks you through.  Some of the covered topics include relaxation, visualization, chakra clearing/balancing, raising kundalini, a complete guided hypnosis session for astral projection with binaural beats / embedded brainwave technology, trancework, breathing and much more.

9 Discs in total for the Explorations Intensive - This portion goes beyond astral projection and includes lessons and sessions for things such as exploring the akashic records, psychic abilities, reading auras and more.

2 E-Books - Two full e-books were included titled "Astral Projection Secrets Revealed" and "Understanding Astral Viewing" (the second book's name may a bit misleading because it actually deals with remote viewing which the author calls Astral Viewing)

FIRST IMPRESSIONS This seriously is a VERY complete kit!! I have only had the chance to go through the e-books and listen to one module.  I have to admit I cheated a bit and skipped directly to disc 7, which is the Astral Projection Hypnosis session. For beginners I would definitely recommend following the complete series but since I have much experience with inducing AP on my own, I wanted to see what the session was like.

The first E-Book "Astral Projection Secrets Revealed" is a basic overview of what Astral Projection is, how to acheive it, who can do it, and the benefits of it, as well as listing the roadblocks etc.  Like my own e-book Spirit-Quest he emphasizes chakra balancing, and he gets into the descriptions of the planes of existence.  It's very thorough!  My only critique is that he left the entire concept of 'Etheric Projection' and the 'Etheric or RTZ' plane out of it all together.  It's not overly surprising to me, as many authors do not bother to get into the semantics, since an OBE is an OBE to the beginner, and the Awe the same whether in the RTZ or Astral.  It could also be that the 'Seven Planes Of Existence' do not distinguish the Etheric as a separate entity from the Physical in many schools of thought.  And indeed the Etheric Plane is part of the physical...This IS however an Astral Projection Kit and not an OBE kit, and I do not believe that the lack of mention of Etheric Projection will affect the ability of someone to learn how to do it at all... since the techniques are essentially the same.  He does distinguish the differences in density as you travel upwards through the planes and that concept would also include the Etheric Plane, being part of the physical (superimposed). In the end, the naming concepts really don't matter... it's the personal experience that does.

The Second Book "Understanding Astral Viewing" gets into the concept of Remote Viewing. It includes a good history, and techniques, and how its related to AP, as well as benefits of learning how to do it.  I have never really gotten into Remote Viewing myself even though I have experienced it naturally (spontaneously) several times.  I will look at it further down the road in order to try to expand what I had experienced (predominantly visual) to try and include the other senses in the RV experience as well.

The First Module I looked at "Astral Projection Hypnosis Session" I have to say was amazing!  Seriously!  Now I should mention I HAVE been hypnotized before... by the Amazing Kreskin actually... so I know what the feeling is like and I knew what to expect as far as induction into the trance state from the point of view of someone else taking me into it.  It does take awhile... he takes you through a visualization on a beach setting and takes you deeper and deeper into the trance state before embarking on the AP suggestions.  It also has embedded within it, binaural beats.  His voice is very easy to let go to - and though I didn't follow it through completely this first time (I was waiting for a phone call and was a bit distracted) I actually found it very difficult to NOT go to deeply into the trance state and forget that I was supposed to answer the phone when it actually did ring!  (I did get my call btw... but I really really didn't want to leave that warm tingly relaxed state so soon!) The suggestions he uses in my opinion are right on track for inducing AP and also seem to follow the personal techniques I have used throughout my life to induce my own OBEs.

So this has just been a first look at the program and in summary I think it has definite potential and for those who have trouble trying to learn how to AP, it may be the solution you are looking for!  The price may be the only obstacle for many... but I guess it depends on how badly you really want to OBE whether you think it's worth it or not!

I will post more of the review as I explore more of the modules (including the preliminary ones before the astral projection hypnosis session) so stay tuned!!

I know the format of the website kind of takes away from it IMO. It looks like the websites that sell weight loss products etc. ... I was waiting for a "BUT WAIT! There's MORE!" at the bottom! 

The actual product does not reflect the website though, and I am in no way affiliated with them at all.  I actually came across his site by accident and because of the way the site looked, and the fairly high price of the kit, I emailed them and asked for a free copy in order to review it.  I wanted to see if it was actually what was being claimed. 

So far, it seems like it does!  Maybe he just needs a new web designer

Actually there is a complete Module (full CD) that is all about how to access the Akashic Records.

Starting tonight I am going to sequentially start listening to all the modules in order... and will post my impressions as I go... but the Akashic part is not until the second box set - the Adavnced Stuff. So it's a way off yet... but rest assured I will get to it!

I should mention that I already know how to induce OBEs on my own, and have for years... so although I can give impressions on the product as a whole and my opinion on whether it may or may not help 'beginners', it would be optimal for an actual beginner to also post their opinions. As luck would have it, the kit comes with a FREE full access pass to give to someone else!  (I just have not figured out how to put someone's email address there yet... there's supposed to be a form under where it says 'You Have 1 Gift Remaining' but I don't see it.  It might be that I am using a Mac and not Windows.. therefore no IE but not sure)   Anyway point being, that I intend on having some sort of contest for registered members on my site and the winner will receive the full kit!! The only premise being that I would hope they'd post their findings upon using it as well.

Now on to Updates:

I have listened to the first few modules now.  The audio modules are laid out like lessons, only instead of having to read... you can listen.  Some of them contain exercises that have you lay down and Steve G. Jones actually takes you through them by inducing a hypnotic state.  Much of the 'system' that he uses is actually the same way I have been inducing OBEs for a long time on my own.  So, while it IS possible to learn this stuff on your own by reading books, it's a LOT easier when you have a clinical hypnotherapist guiding you through it and actually putting you into a trance state! It removes a lot of the effort! 

The system involves breathing exercises, creating a cylindrical shape around your body, becoming aware of the light surrounding you, clearing your chakras (which I also emphasize in the e-book I wrote), and raising kundalini.... all of this before actually entering a deep trance state to induce OBEs.  It sounds like a lot, but in reality can be accomplished in little time on your own... and the idea is that he is teaching you these preliminaries so you can do them on your own without his guidance.  The ultimate goal is that you will not need the audio files eventually. The preparatory work he goes into is very thorough!

I'm not in any way affiliated with them. I fact, I simply asked them for a copy to evaluate.  I have not gotten through the modules enough to review in detail yet, so right now it's first impressions, and basic description of what is included..... hence the title "First Impressions" however, I did get into the included e-book - and if this was a promotion, I wouldn't have brought up the fact that he completely leaves etheric projection out of it all together.  I don't think it's a big issue though since the techniques are basically the same for AP / EP.  But, I do think it shoud have been mentioned. As for the audio files, I have only scratched the surface so far so all I can do is mention what is included, until I listen to more of the modules, and get more into the exercises myself.  Think of what I wrote so far as an 'Unboxing'
