I would like to recommend a little booklet I came across - the title is The Astral World by a Hindu mystic called Swami Panchadasi. There is an excellent description of the seven astral planes with an explanation of the various errors people often make when trying to understand or describe them. The description appears to be a reasonable fit with modern physics despite being written over a century ago.

There are descriptions of the "Belief System Territories" that closely match the descriptions given by Bruce & also Bob Monroe. In addition there is a section on the Akashic Records - I found this book helped to bring together some Monroe type concepts with the astral dimensions described by Robert Bruce.

The booklet can be read on-line at can also get it in paperback format from Amazon if you prefer.

If the link doesn't work at some point I'd be happy to email the book to anyone, contact me at

Best wishes to all,

The Astral Pulse
