William Buhlman - (Hemi-Sync) CDs

I rate the CDs on a scale from 0 - 10 (10 being the best/highest) for the ability to alter your mind. As this is my first review on CDs, it also means I have nothing else to compare with. The grade I give the CDs may therefore be questionable.


Adventures Beyond The Body, INDUCTION MUSIC FOR OUT-OF-BODY TRAVEL, William Buhlman, 2 CD set, (publishing year unknown)

Both CDs in this set are used by Buhlman in his OBE workshops. The CDs only contain music, no voice or song. The sound was created by Brian E Paulson. (This CD set should not be confused with Buhlman's 4 CD set with the same main title.)


CD 1, Waves of Light, 59 minutes

GRADE: 1.5

While this CD doesn't give any promises, I would have expected a little bit more. The CD is claimed to produce some altered brain waves; alpha and then theta. The music is soft and sounds like a synth using very long tones which slowly shifts. I kept it at low volume and it was easy to listen to it. I got almost no effect compared to my OBE attempts without any audio help. Perhpas this CD does something with my energies, as I got some mild bodily sensations, but I didn't feel any change of awareness to the degree that I wanted.

The first time I listened to it, my left arm started hurting, perhaps it was my nadis playing tricks to me? Besides that, I kind of feel that the CD has less effect than not using it at all. This could just be me, being very poor at any AP/OBE action at all, but I still have to give it a low grade.


CD 2, Power of 7, 51 minutes

GRADE: 3.0

This CD is said to be used professionally for healing and OBE. It also managed to alter my state of awareness which moved me into what I call "grainy 2D blackness". It seemed give a slightly better result compared to not using any audio aid at all. The CD takes the listener from beta to delta brain waves. Still, the result was pretty poor, but It could depend on me just be very poor at utilizing it and also due to the fact that it should be used in conjunction with Buhlman's workshop.

The music is partly long synth tones, but also lots of drums and other sound, which I interpret as being "shamanic".

I have now started using the POS CD again, after a long break. Those two times I used it I seemed to very easily enter F 10 or whatever that is, that state of mind I enter.

At the second use of POS I for a short moment kind of felt 3-D blackness, which is on the border to F 12. I'm still rotten at disassociating my body and I don't see much visually.

But perhaps I should give the POS H-S CD a higher grade. Time will tell.

I also have to compare it to the JOOB CDs, which I'm awaiting...
