Just thought I would let everyone know.

Last night I went to bed like normal (I wasn't attempting to have a LD). I started out in my dream sitting on my front porch swing reading a book. I flipped the page and wanted to reread something and noticed that the words were different. I rapidly flipped back and forth because this was my first time that this has happened to me in a dream. For some reason this seemed to keep me focused in the dream.

As I was doing this the sun started going down, so I jumped from my front porch to the road (about 75 feet) so that I could see the sun. I reached my hand out towards the sun to pull it up (kind of like using the Force). It didn't work at first, so I yelled "I COMMAND YOU" and it moved according to my will. I was so amazed how powerful I felt. I literally felt like a god. This was the most amazing dream experience of my life.

The only thing wrong with the situation was that the light did not move with the sun. I realized in the dream that I had to move the light to move as well. The "I command you" phrase didn't work this time and I started to fret because I felt my power over the dreamworld slipping and myself fading away from the dream as well.

However, I reasoned that I was a god in the dream and that I could control it, so I yelled "Let there be light". The light moved back to the sun's location then and I could see everything clearly now. I felt my grasp on the dream and my power return. Then I levitated (willingly and purposely to test my power).

At that point, I was so lucid that I wanted to test things that I had always wanted to do in a dream environment. I found someone and asked them to show me one of my greatest fears and they showed me some type of dark creatures that resembled spiders (yes, I am scared of spiders lol, but I don't think that its what it was supposed to mean). I felt a sense real danger and felt my powers slipping, so I yelled "Get me out!" and I was teleported to my back yard again. This experience wad amazing. I literally saw my body disentegrate atom by atom and flow to my destination. In this trip I traveled through some sort of tunnel. This tunnel was like a tunnel of colorful lights. It was glorious and magnificent. There were colors in this tunnel that did not even exist.

Once my body settled there I could not stop my desire to demonstrate what I could really do. I then told the person to let me talk to my subconscious. He told me that it would not want me to do that because it was extremely dangerous to make my conscious mind meet my subconscious mind. I yelled at him to make him do it and I was brought to a dream version of myself. It looked exactly like me.

My sub. told me not to talk to it because it had to listen and obey what I said and that if I told it to do something crazy that I could harm myself very much. I obeyed and said nothing. It told me some message that I'm having trouble remembering but I remember that it was very profound. He then touched my forehead and told me to wake up and think about what he said. I did and woke up and thought about everything.

I've got to get going, but I'll get back to this post later.

What are your thoughts?

Sounds like an awesome experience Smiley

The colouful light tunnel could be a vortex, wormhole which myself and others have experienced and described:
http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/welcome_to_astral_projection_experiences/quotwormholequot_during_lucid_dream-t35927.0.html;msg297086#msg297086

Regarding your subconsciousness, there is a theory that our subconsciousness is what drives our 'perceived' reality.
All the repeated thoughts that make up the sense of 'self', particularly the inherited 'thoughts' of others defining you, and
programmed belief systems inherited though culture, religion, educational system is stored in your subconscious mind.

For example, even in your astral body some people find it difficult to pass through walls or maintain flight
because of their belief in Material Science (Newtonian Physics): all things are made up of atoms, particles.
We now know through Quantum Physics that there is absolutely no solid stuff in 'physical' reality.

Thanks for sharing your LD, I enjoyed reading it Smiley

in the page flipping it seems to me from research that eradic motion or actions tends to prolong and stabalize dreams.this is very interesting cause common sense tells us this would wake us up not prolong the dream.    anyone else agree to this strangeness??

page flipping? Do you mean changing scenes during LD?

From my experiences, some of the longer dreams I have consists of more scene changes, although if I wake up suddenly,
I tend to remember only those scenes which had more emotional charge, such as an exhilarating car chase or experiencing astral flight.
Also if there are more characters & activity, my LD is easier to recall & tends to be relatively longer than those with just myself in it.

Several times, when I am driving home (usual route) -almost on auto pilot, I can start to recall some of my recent LD.

Page flipping or doing anything tactile with the hands is a good way to enhance lucidity in an LD or OBE.

If I do a motion in OBE state that resembles the position/motion that I used as an exit technique, it usually lands me right back in my body. It is like a toggle switch. For example if I used a falling back flip to exit my body and then I start flying while OBE and do a falling backflip for fun it will often land me right back in my body. This has happened to me plenty of times.

Speaking of 'best' experiences... mine was too awesome for words.
Back when I was part of a kinda Rosicrucian Gnostic cult I had several trips to the astral plane that make me think there really is an astral realm that has real people in it that have a life there that goes on whether I am there or not. Places 'above' the astral too. I know many expert projectors don't buy that story but I am keeping an open mind on this. I need to just keep up my efforts and keep moving forward. I am learning a lot with all this.
