My girlfriend has been having these "dreams" where Countess Bathory(a serial killer in the 1600's in Hungary) is trying to kill her. (she also has never heard of this person until she started showing up in her "dreams") Does anyone have any idea why a real serial killer is invading her dreams?

I don't see any metaphysical reasoning to that dream. Her mindset most likely is what caused her to dream of the serial killer.

I dont see any reason to it either, but she has told me she has had dreams where she is sitting on the side watching herself sleep. So I know she has a link to the astral, and unless she learned about this person a long time ago and just does not remember it, it is an entity that she is encountering on a certain Focus level.

Does she like vampires? People thought the countess was a vampire, I heard of her before. Maybe she was a victim in another lifetime. She could try hypnosis and ask why.

Hmmm... Interesting.
She said she is somewhat interested in Vampires. Could this being affect her in the dream realm? She says that I am their as well, but I am chained up.

I know she is of french decent? I think her grandpa is of Hungarian decent, but I am not sure. Let me make a phone call ;p

Maybe she was the countess in a previous life.
Conflicting parts of your self can war with each other. She might want to start sending the countess PUL. If she's not lucid in the dreams she can do it from meditation.

Update to the story.
My girlfriend contacted her grandmother, who is 100% french, and she said that their was a girl in the family many years ago that liked to travel and just vanished during her travels.
This is the only close connection she could have to the Countress Bathory.
Maybe she is a reincarnation of this girl, and something is trying to be told to her?
I asked her to try to become fully aware during this "nightmare" and to ask the Countress what she wants.
