I suppose it's possible sometimes. But no, I'd never heard of that and in most dreams people I know seem to represent things other than themselves.

No, I don't think so. It depends on the person and your relationship to that person, I guess. Someone who is very dear to you might go to bed all the time thinking of you, I'm sure in that case they'd more likely appear in your dreams.
