drug and dream interaction??

very simple question. how to drugs affect your dreaming?? such as cannabis(always had happy dreams after use) or psychedelics??(heard in the long run can impare dreaming and lucidity...but in short will amplify) others i do not care about and this question does not pertain to such substances as cocaine herion or meth and anyother assortment of hard drugs just cannabis and psychedelics.

There have been numerous people on this forum that have said their dream recall went up significantly after they quit smoking cannabis.

really thats interesting.....i alone have terrible recall i set three alarms through out the night and take 9mg of melatonin and meditate to remember just one and only on one time i recalled three in one night but before i started using the alarms and melatonin i smoked cannabis for the first time in like 9 months and had a very vivid pleasent dream

cannabis can be a tool for dreaming. simply before sleep cannabis will supress REM and you will have a deep REM deprived sleep thus the next night you will have an REM rebound. so stoners out there take that into consideration.
