Experimental, that is quite fun!
What I find most exciting is flying with someone by my side, or teaching somebody how to fly.
The latest experience I had with that theme was early this month. I was flying over a beautiful farm, and a kid was joyfully watching me as I passed. He asked if I could teach me how to do that. I agreed, and told him to run so that we could get enough propulsion, I would come flying from behind and grab him by his hand to take off. And so we did it, I also told him to help me with the flight, to control his balance. It went fine. But sometimes it's hard to rise with extra weight.

Yeah I agree it’s excellent!
Thing is these dreams or experiences seem random with me - I v tried and tried to slip into a flying dream deliberately - just does not happen that way with me, it’s always on the random chance. Theirs been a few flying dreams I v had and I think the more you get the conscious intervention or the realisation or maybe the lucidity in these states , the more you become aware how to control it , and as ya say its fun when you find yourself flying in a dream and suddenly assist others to do it lol .
Like with me it seems natural to fly when I m having one of these dreams - its like I v taught myself in the dream how to maintain the flight awareness , at first I had to realise that I had to concentrate on maintaining it because as soon as my attention was taken away from flying in the dream I would start to descend , which in turn made me strengthen the fact as long as I remained focused upon it I would always be able to do it lol - and these days when I get a flying dream its like natural to be able to fly in the dream .
I think that type of philosophy would apply with alot in a dream - the more you can control your mind to do what you desire and focus your attention on that, the stronger and more stable that desire will be to maintain it.
It’s like the imagination is very powerful in dream states - and you’re the one controlling what you will perceive - so for example if I think I can float straight through a wall while having abit conscious intervention in the dream then I will be able to do that. I think it’s down to your own personal law of what can be done and what cannot be done to what can happen while lucid.
cheers

Yesterday night I had 2 lucid flying lucid dreams. When I was a child I was already doing flying but I was not experimented like today. It was a long time that I didnt do LD and it was very fun. Before starting my story could someone tell me if everyoby that does LFD are always outdoor near his house? Because im always there . So I was outdoor beside my house entering a ramdom dreams. So I began been lucid because that was a long time that I didnt and I read about it a little. I started to think about flying and after I jumped into the air to start. I was in a Matrix Style position head first ... But that was weird because everytime I was head first it was more fast but drew me to the ground and in a bird style I was getting higher but with less speed. So i alternate the two positions and that was a great feeling. I was in the road but I was not seeing car Im not an expert of flying dreams about doing loops and things but im good... After that I awake and return to sleep... I was already doing another flying dreams but this was the same!

i had a lucid dream about a month ago where i flew....it started where i was at work and looked at the clock on my desk but couldnt really read it right. a passage from waking life (the movie) clicked in my head and i did what i do that always triggers the lucidity. i tried turning a light off. when it didnt turn off i realized i was dreaming and started running through the store just because i could. i jumped over a table but i never landed and thats when i started flying. i just kept running but in mid air. it was such an awesome feeling. its the first time ive ever flown while in a lucid dream. such an incredible experience. it was so vivid. anyway thats my flying story.

The Lucid Dreaming (LD) experiences will hopefully increase for everyone. Then you can try out all sorts of flying techniques. It seems that if I purposely think about LD before sleeping, it helps me to LD sometimes. Keep flying folks -

There are only so many lucid dreams that come my way. I am lucky if I can get a couple each month so I'm happy when they occur. Last night I was lucid and did my favorite thing which is to fly. For some reason, when I fly in lucid dreams, I usually start mentally playing the music from the 1978 Superman movie. It's kind of funny, but I seem to get a kick out of it while lucid. [ ] Anyone else have any interesting flying dream experiences? flying in lucid dream is such an interesting one. i have been doing this so many times. how like superman, i fly wherever i think i want to.

The first thing I did when I came Lucid was to fly haha! It's so great though and it seems so real. Something else I want to try is breathing under-water. That would be fun.

No I can't say I have ever fought anything in Lucid dreams... I was too taken away by the aspects that I could fly haha I've only had two so far and both of them only lasted a few minutes but I'm going to keep trying.

My most recentl semi-flying dream was when me and I friend were practicing flight. We kept levitating up into a huge tree near the friend's house, then jumping out. We were unable to really fly though, we both just kept gliding back to the ground. It was a pleasant dream, and we were not upset -- we both somehow knew we just had to keep practicing. It was a pretty dream. For me, flying dreams are nearly always happy. Maybe the ability to fly has something to do with whether you are in a good mood when you go to sleep??? Someone asked if flying dreams are always near my house. Mine are not. In fact, my most memorable one had me soaring and diving over what looked like English countryside, though I've never been there so can't say for sure. Now that was a nice dream!

Just had a lucid flying dream last night:
I was in some old laboratory-looking warehouse with someone as we discovered an unusual substance/paste which had explosive properties and would also bounce like a super-ball when mixed with some water. Then some wild-eyed guy, who looked like a jungle native from South America, began to attack the other person I was with... I immediately took off out an open doorway and flew out into the sky. I looked back to see the wild native flying straight at me, traveling at least ten times faster than I was traveling.
I saw a huge tree with many large branches nearby and headed right into the branches and placed my back to a large branch and slid down the tree - all the way to the ground, with my back still to the tree trunk. I could feel the wild man behind the tree and tried to hold him off energetically with my hands aiming in his direction, which seemed to take a lot of energy and was barely working.
Then another wild-eyed native suddenly appeared and they were both then standing before me with many different weapons in their hands. One of them then told me to choose a weapon for battle. I then grabbed as many of the weapons I could at once and slammed them all into the ground as hard as I could. Then it was as if this act caused the two of them to snap out of their wild-eyed states and they immediately became my friends.
We then began walking together back toward the warehouse as they began to explain to me how they had been harvesting the unusual paste substance. They told me of how they would go to an old dried up lake bed where the bottom was dried out and had very deep cracks in a clay-like substance. They said that they would get a tool of some type and reach deep down into the cracks and collect the substance in this way. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Something then woke me up from the dream, which probably would have continued on.
Many of my dreams are quite elaborate like this with many detailed unusual experiences, and many times I am flying around in different parts. This particular dream had a lot more to it, which happened before the above experience.
