Had a dream the other night. It was daytime and I looked up to the sky and I saw the moon. The only thing though was that it was very close to the Earth. So close in fact that I could make out features within the craters. It apparently had left its orbit. Has anyone else had a similar dream? Just curious.

I have never has such a dream. But there is a theory that the moon will one day crash into the earth. Supposedly each year the moon gets a little closer. they measure it using the time it takes a laser to bounce off the moon and get back to the source. Its debated that the moon could be developing an atmosphere or something else is making the light take longer. I don't know enough about it though, But could it be something to do with the expansion of the universe?

Anyways, It could be that you are seeing the future or it could be nothing.

Use a dream analysis. was there any emotion when you saw the moon?

I have never heard the theory that the moon will one day actually crash into the earth. In fact the moon is moving away from the earth at about an inch a year. Over a lifespan this is not too noticeable, but over a course of a million years things like tides will be weaker.
