Hello, if you saw my last post I was asking for help on remembering my dreams, funny enough, it seems typing that down was all I needed as I have been recollecting my dreams much better the last few nights. So anyways one dream I had was extremely vivid and it stood out very much from the rest that I had .

So I had awoken and gotten up earlier than I normally do that day and I went and laid down on my couch to attempt to astral project, but it seems I fell asleep in the middle of trying. I remember the dream starting out with me looking out the glass sliding door of my home, My eyes were drawn to something strange laying in my backyard (FYI everything else inside my home and yard was exactly the same looking as normal) So I went outside and got closer to this odd object to see what it was, as it was quite large, I got within a couple yards of it only to notice it was a snake curled up laying in my yard, the snake started to slither towards me, I was paralyzed in fear and didn't move as I thought that maybe if I stayed still it wouldn't do anything to me. The snake was approximately 4-6 feet long and it was completely black. Shockingly the snake started to curl around my legs and it wasn't constricting me at all but it seemed to be "climbing" up me. I somehow was able to grab it from behind the head like I had seen snake handlers do and I got a hold of it and started to carry it to my front yard (I'm not sure what I was intending to do with it there). I then stopped for some reason and I looked at the snakes head to examine it better, the snake then opened its mouth and "spit" venom in my face and I expected this to blind me. Yet for some reason the venom calmed me and I felt extremely relaxed. I managed to keep the snake in my hands but as I looked at it again it seemed to "liquefy" out of my hands and I then fell to my knees from the overwhelming calmness and relaxation I was feeling. The snake was back in its "solid" form and it curled back up in front of me where we both exchanged stares for several seconds until I woke up.

So yeah I'm not sure if this has any meaning, but it was really nice considering it was the most realistic dream I have ever experienced in a long while and considering the fact that it happened after I was attempting to astral project.

Maybe it's a lesson about fear?

The first part of this lesson would be "just because it looks scary, or because you think it's scary doesn't mean it's scary". The second part, is about thinking about if having fears something is beneficial to your goal/situation. This looks like a preparation for the astral, where you will want to overcome your fear, because if you have fear there you might create scary things and scare yourself. It is also a good life lesson.

Having the intent to recollect your dreams will already help a lot with it. Something that will help even more: When you wake up, try not to move. Think about your dreams, you will usually remember at least one. Try to play the entire scenario in your head. After that start searching. Ask yourself all kinds of questions, like "what did I dream". Search your mind and you will probably find more dreams. Also quickly replay these in your head. After that, take a pen and paper, and write down what you remember. Not in extreme detail, but the main story, and what you thought was the most interesting. The reason for doing this is because, after sleep dreams are in "shadow memory". You need to stimulate yourself to remember them permanently (by thinking about those dreams and writing them down). If you don't do this they become very hard to access. Also, the more you practice, the more dreams you will remember.

When thinking about what dreams mean, others can often give a good explanation. I strongly recommend though, to first try to explain it for yourself, and then ask others.

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

To light one candle is more effective than cursing the darkness.
