Need dream help

Need help with a dream I had. Can't remember the beginning of the dream, but from where I remember, I was having an affair (but apparently didn't know about it at the time) with my ex (whom I just started talking to again about 2 months ago) and when we were doing something I was in her bedroom and she was on the phone and she said ok baby and all this to the guy on the other end, and I got irritated and got up to go to her bathroom, then it like "snapped" into an alternate house which I've never seen before, the bathroom where I went to was blue and very bare and ugly room, and I felt drunk and looked in the dirty mirror and I was thinking what in the hell are you doing while looking at myself, and knew I had to get out of there because apparently she had a kid too, and it was with this guy so I was literally splitting up a family.  Next thing I knew, it felt like I had one of my contacts fall out, and it felt like in my actual body (i figured out I was sleeping at this point) so I started to get up to put it back in, but apparently that was part of the dream, because I woke up and remembered all of this.  I think the contact part had something to do with the dream though for sure.  What could this mean?
