I find myself almost every night awakening from a dream, remembering the events of the dream fully and then going back into the dream and reliving it but with changes that I consciously make. EX. I am in a dream where I am driving down a highway. I am now on a overpass and below me there is a violent accident occurring. I see this accident in it's entirety with all the gore etc.. It's a traumatic scene, I then awaken briefly with full recall, close my eyes and go back to sleep with the intent of changing the scene. Soon I am seeing the exact same scenario again, but this time I can alter it instead of just watching it. I can replay this as many times as I wish until I am happy with the results.
I do Phase Sessions consciously aware daily, but just recently have been teaching myself through nightly Brain Entrainment to awaken in Lucid Dreams. I have never been much for the terminology of what is going on, but right now I am curious what you guys would call this. Is it an OBE from a Lucid Dream? I can consciously control all events after I awaken with full memory recall of the previous dream. I don't change the scenario theme at all though. I just control what is happening in that scene. Is this the time when I should just freeze for a second, then launch into another intent? Like I said, I do Phase sessions and have great success with them, but the Lucid Dreams are spontaneous, I watch them first, then relive them with control.

Very interesting experiences, Lionheart! I would categorize them as “Time Travel” within an astral reality, with the intent to change its “history”, this creating a probable line of the future. I don’t know if these dreams are symbolically showing you that past events even in our physical reality could be altered and affect our present and future.  Foe example, old beliefs may be changed through going back in the time of their development (best through an OBE) and consciously removing them. Change of a belief in illness for instance, may result in healing in the present.

I would say this is just having a nice control of true intent. I get the same thing nowadays. I would associate this with unconsciousness aptitude, similar to the learning curve of mot skills.

It's funny how lax I have become about the whole discipline. It's just that I can't close my eyes without dealing with this stuff.

Consistently trying to sleep on my side more - Cheers,

Hello Lionheart.
Leaving a dream, awakening and then deliberately reentering the same dream is a form of inducing a lucid dream known as W.I.L.D and that stands for a Wake Induced Lucid Dream. I have done this on occasion and it Is a lot of fun. There is some satisfaction from finishing an incomplete dream and setting things right.

Cheers  grin

Thanks for the tip there Grey  smiley, I just did a google search on W.I.L.D and found this link here quite interesting. http://www.world-of-lucid-dreaming.com/wake-induced-lucid-dreams.html
I actually started doing this when I kept awaking in Dreams and not liking what was happening or the result of that Dream. I then would find myself back reliving the Dream again, but now could alter it to my liking.

I've recently re-booted a scene but it was all in a 'normal', unlucid dream. I was in a nice haven. From this port many boats were leaving. I then noticed that I was on the wrong boat as I asked s.o. about its destination and knew that this was not where I wanted to go. Then this person also told me that it would take us several hours. This information was disturbing enough to trigger my escape. I blinked out of that scene and immediately I 'ended up' in the haven again to take the right boat.

It sounds like the Re scripting was very helpful for you in that instance Volgerie. I guess we just have to get used to all the strange things that start to occur when we delve into the Wider Reality. It's like a school that never ends. Just when you think you have seen everything, something new and intriguing occurs!  smiley

I just finished listening to Robert Moss in a Coast to Coast AM interview. I was out of town when he was live on the show. This was one of the best interviews I have heard yet on Coast to Coast AM. Robert calls the technique I call Re scripting, Dream Reentry. He speaks quite a bit about Dream definitions and Lucid Dreaming as well. This interview is a "must listen to" for anyone that is serious about trying this technique or learning more about Lucid Dreaming. I give it a A++.  smiley

The first hour is interesting as well, it's about a guy named John Oldale that travels the planet searching for unique stories/oddities and customs. But, you can skip ahead to the 38:00 minute point if you just wish to hear Robert Moss.
