It's always such a pleasurable experience when I dream of a whale. I'm always swimming underwater with it, floating peacefully or swimming slowly. I've dreamt of it so much it's become my favourite animal. My most recent dream was swimming with one on an onboard HUGE fish tank on a yacht. Together we were trying to break free into the real waters we were floating on. I think its symbolic of m wanting to dig deeper in my consciousness. Anyone else have a similar experience or have a new appreciation for an animal/object after dreaming of it so often? Any interpretations of my whale dreams?

While I wouldn't necessarily go to a "dream dictionary" for advice on symbolism... as I feel dream interpretation is a very personal thing.
It's always a good place to start:

To see a whale in your dream, represents your intuition and awareness. You are in tuned with your sense of spirituality. Alternatively, a whale symbolizes a relationship or business project that may be too big to handle. You are feeling overwhelmed. The dream may also be a pun on "wailing" and a desire to cry out about something.

See if that fits your views on whales... otherwise, you'll need to figure out what a whale symbolizes to you.

I'd say the fish tank represents physical reality. It's a limited copy of the outer, unlimited, environment that its floating in. You're trying to break free.

I assume you've been wanting to project lately? The dream seems like a metaphor for that.

I'd say only you are likely to figure out what something as specific as a whale means. It may well represent an aspect of yourself.

Thanks for getting back to me! Blis, I completely agree with your interpretation its exactly was what I was thinking. I think the whale representations my connection with spirituality. The whale was able to break the barriers that were holding us within the tank. Without it, I'm still there and can't get out. I always feel so calm and at peace with the whale. I feel it might be my spirit animal although I am so new to this I could be completely wrong, its just an idea I heard. Far fetched, maybe...
