I a friend of mine says (he read it in a  book)that since young boy until adult age, Tolkien (the man that wrote Lord of th Rings) had all the time the same recuring dream.

It was a dream related with sea, with islands (i dont remember very well the description of the dream) and so on.

Tolkien was convinced that the dream was a message saying that he is a descendent of Atlantid people. He thougth that he must do something about that. He felt that it should creat a message for people and show then the reign of Atlantida.

So then he wrote the story of Numenor, the story of people that lived in a island, but due to corruption the island disapeared in the sea, killing the inhabitants. After he wrote that the dream stoped, like if reached somthing.

Later (years, months?) his son was surprised to see that him too had the same dream since child! None of them was aware of that until the story being published.

very interesting

I love you!
