Early last week, I had a very vivid dream, very engaging and emotional...

I was preparing for an exam of some sort, and been checking into a luxurious hotel to study in a quiet room (very strange, I know!).  I would study, enjoy the peace in my room, which sometimes looks like a garden as well, and sometimes I would see the most amazing view from the window - a river, greenery etc

In my dream, I knew that it was a weekday, and that on Saturday (yesterday) I had a big birthday party in this same hotel.  (I had my real birthday a few weeks ago).  I had already invited lots of people for this party, but not prepared at all because I was focussed on my studies.  Then my friends came to visit me at the hotel and said that I must be very rich or wasting good money paying for hotel rooms just to study.  And I kept on saying to them it's only £21 per day, and that's because I'm only using it daytime.  We also talked about my forthcoming party and I told them I was planning to wear a dusky pink gown (had a picture of it in my mind) and that I will be giving away pink pearl necklaces to all my female guests (!).

Anways that was my dream last week.  I thought about it a lot and forgot it this weekend, until I caught myself singing 'Happy Birthday to you' earlier on today - totally out of the blue!

What's going on?  Why did it feel like me in the dream and why was I was emotionally engaged in it?  I'm not rich at all! lol  And most of all, why am I spontaneously singing happy birthday? Is it possible that someone is sending me a message, or maybe I'm living a parallel life?  (I've heard that the soul can split into two sometimes and incarnate as two people)

Any other thoughts?

Venus

Well, someone recently posted a way to interpret dreams that i found very helpful. Maybe you should try it out and see what you come up with. In my dreams i also dream about recent upcoming or past events. Sometimes they mean something and sometimes they don't. I think the dreams you should concentrate on are the ones that seam very surreal and hard to remember every detail. To me, this seems like the deep subconscious "digesting" our life for us. With that being said, I think your dream has some significance to it because of the surreal qualities such as the room turning into a half garden and such.

As far as what the dream meant in my opinion. I think you should ask yourself if you have any strong feeling towards birthdays and go from there.

But then again, I can't even get lucid so what do i know =)

Hope this helps
