I never really thought about it. The standard freqeuncy is 440 or guitars but, I'm not sure about the chakra freq... hmmm I think its a bit to high for a guitar though... perhaps tuning up an ocave from standard and playing on your highest frets might do it, although I'm not sure...

Jela167,
I saw a site that had the frequencies to tune the guitar to the planets. But I can't find the site.  A couple of years ago, I was struggling with singing and my girlfriend said "sing do" and I said I don't know what note C is without hearing it first.  She said "just sing do." So I sang do, then she said sing re, fa . . . and so on.  She then said, "Your natural key is Bflat."  From then I sang the Bb scale while she played the piano.  When I sang with her while she played the scale, my head started buzzing and I suddenly became dizzy to the point that I had to sit down.
Once again, I am wondering if this could have opened a chakra.

Anyway, thanks for the help regarding the tunning. I will give it a try when I get home.

i sang my do. it was actually c. and then i sang the scale and nothing happened. i guess if you cant sing, it doesnt do anything. but my pitch was a tad sharp anyway. with practice, it shall get better. i used to be good. but then i quit. lol.

I don't have perfect pitch at all. I can tell you when your guiatar is out of tune and tune it for you, but I can't name the notes... I play mostly by ear...

Spencer - wow.

I've seen a few sites like this one:

http://home.xtra.co.nz/hosts/Wingmakers/Chakra%20Tones%20and%20Notes.html

and others referencing the scale C D E F G A B as the seven major chakras, and the corresponding colours aswell, ie C is red, D is orange..... which is interesting to me as i see/feel notes as colours aswell as pitch
