pretty much what she is saying is that we are "projecting" our conciousness into a "projected" universe like a hologram within a hologram, like in the matrix how neo could move in and out of the matrix and change anything he wanted but in the second movie he discovered that he was still in the matrix.

There are not more than two strands to a DNA molecule... yet. I don't know where the whole "virtual 12 strands" idea originated from but I don't buy it. That's just me.

DNA can be broken (denatured) by breaking the hydrogen bonds between the base pairs. You'll have to be more specific about what you mean by "dormant." There is about 90-95% of your DNA, so-called "junk" DNA, that does not encode for any protein construction. Interesting to note, however, that much of this junk is comprised of transposons that play a vital role in genome assembly (http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2009/05/090520140408.htm)

It may be repairable through electromagnetic and sonic (more likely a combination of the two) means. This field of research is called wave genetics. Very interesting work being done here. At Lebedev University in Russia, there arose a series of experiments by Gariaev and his colleagues, which have shown that empty space (vacuum) itself can and does remember a DNA molecule that inhabited it. This vacuum memory appears to wax holographic in form. Subsequently, a member of Gariaev's team went to China, where he succeeded in utilizing the memory capability of the vacuum to cause a chicken to turn partly into a duck. From these results, they were able to turn a salamander completely into a frog by similar methods.

Neither do I- but I think the original idea of twelve strands came from some channeled material, and since mystics from time immemorial used the number 12 to denote "Cosmic Consciousness" type of ideas (12 zodiac signs, 12 apostles, 12 months, etc. etc.) and separately some physicists postulated the idea of eleven or twelve dimensions, I get the idea that some members of the 'spiritual community' decided to assign DNA 'spiritual importance' (and frankly, the idea that we must evolve to a certain 'potential' opens the door to a lot of profitmaking.  If you take a look at some sites, you'll see many out there making money by 'activating' your 12-strand DNA so that you can 'survive' the 'changes'.
I guess you can imagine what I think of that.

I have been trying for longer then I can remember to change my DNA and rule my destiny. I'd rather be someone else physically.

I know what your going to say. "work on enlightenment" "your goal is impossible". I don't need to work on myself on the inside. I don't believe in impossible when it comes to spiritual potential. Besides even if it is impossible my desires are still going to be as strong as ever.

Zare where did you find the "exercises" to do this energizing you were talking about? I have tried so many things. The Universe should have rewarded my hard work by now, or perhaps I am still missing something.
