Ears Ringing

First off, hello everyone. Glad to be here.

Now that's settled, I had a question. I've been experimenting with binaural beats and meditation, and finally decided to start learning chakra control. It's coming slowly, but I think it's going somewhere.

I've been hearing spontaneous ringing in my ears just randomly going about life as normal. It only lasts for a few seconds at a time and then everything's normal again.

It doesn't happen very often, so when it does it's distracting. Could this tie into the energy body in some way or should I see a physician?

Ringing in ears have indeed been associated with deep trance/mind awake body asleep states.

However, since you are experiencing ringing during normal waking hours I would suggest you get yourself checked out just to be sure. It could be anything from an ear infection or even indicate a benign tumor in some rare cases.

Science calls it Tinnitus, you can google it to find info on it. I get it whenever I am attempting to project, when I'm relaxed and my mind is starting to quiet down I start hearing a low humming sound. I actually use it as my part of my method to project. I start concentrating on just listening to the ringing, and it gets louder and eventually it is all I hear. It helps trance me out, I guess you could say. There's actually a thread where others have stated using the same method to help them clear their mind. I honestly don't know if it's related to the energy body or not. I've had hearing tests (not because of the ringing) and everything seems to be fine with my hearing. I don't know if it's related to physical problems or not, but I'm not too worried about it (yet). If it starts to happen sporadically, say for instance I was walking down the street and it happened and just sort of made me deaf for a minute, then I would have it looked at for sure.

It does happen sporadically at random times during the day. Not very often, but enough for me to take note.

I've had a hearing test as well as had my tympanic membranes examined, and besides some insignificant high frequency hearing loss in one ear everything's checked out.

I'm not ruling out the tumor, though, considering I do sometimes feel pressure in a specific place in my head.

Yeah, dotstar, I've experienced the low humming sound. Actually my first attempted projection I got to that point, but I started to separate and completely freaked out.

Anyway, I may get my head examined to clear up concerns if it becomes a problem. Right now it's just kind of a nifty occurence and I was curious if there was some explanation related to energy/astral.

I don't think that I (or anyone else) can currently give you any proof other than the fact that from reading about other peoples OBE attempts, it seems to be a pretty natural occurrence, and pretty easy to self-induce for some people.

Stuart Wilde identifies it as a phenomenon connected to the Morph.  It is a kind of download from a transdimensional realm which is getting stronger and stronger these days.  I've had the Airplane (Amazonian shamans' term for the high pitched hum) for years and it varies in intensity.  According to Stuie it's a real blessing and will be more understood as time goes on.

I also have that sometimes but not often. Silvia Brown says its your spirit guide, I've tried listening when I hear it but it doesn't sound like anyone is talking, lol. I don't know but I'm sure everything is fine, I have good hearing and the ringing is rare.

Its a side effect of spiritual practices (meditation etc), your sense become hypersensitive.
Some call it "divine-ear", with a hum going on 24x7 inside them.

If the condition is not physiological, its a good sign actually...
Please get it confirmed by a doc.

after a hard day i come home and sit on my bed and ill get relaxed and then watch tv but some times i hear a sound that starts really loud it shocks me and then it slowly gets quieter but the more shocked i am the quicker it gets quieter to silence i dont meditate but im the type of person who get home and put my mobile on silent and forgets every part of the stress and annoyance of work

It started happening since i tryed to astral project as soon as i felt the buzzing bee feeling and the tone it freaked me all these things like will i be albe to return will i be able to cope with this new experience

Are you drinking soda's with artificial sugars?  Aspartame makes my ears ring something awful.

I for one don't do Aspartame, when my ears ring it isn't painful or extremely loud. It only last for a few seconds & it fades when I become aware of it.
