Energy movement while sleeping

Since I've begun attempting lucid dreams and astral projection I've noticed some energy movement that takes place when I'm in the sleep or trance state. There is an energy current that runs up and down my body at the rate of probably 1 seconds up the body and 1 second down. I've been able to actually control the intensity and the timing of this current. When it is at its strongest, I almost hear a click at the top of my head before it shifts back down the body. Has anyone else noticed this. Is there any sort of name for this phenomena? My guess is that this is the energy body rejuvenating the physical body overnight.

Very interesting,

During a good meditation trance session, I've felt a shock of energy go up my spine and sort of explode in my head, but it feels great and starts OBEs.

A strange thing I've noticed recently, in the last couple years, is feeling a pulse where energy centers are supposed to be.

One day I felt the  pulse in my chest and thought, "that's normal, nothing unusual" , Then as my attention shifted to the solar plexus, I felt the pulse there.

Then by shifting the attention to the throat, the pulse was there, and so on up and down the body.

It's not a big deal, but I've just noticed this after many years, weird.

when i was doing energy work more regularly, i could move it from my feet up to my head and have control of the energy. also when i moved it towards my upper body i sometimes could feel my "feet" lift off the bed. thats about where i gave up last time because i was having trouble adapting to the change in awareness. (mostly fear). looking to get back into it 5 years later

in my dream i had a weird sensation. It trailed my dream ... i had been driving in a car and drove into a huge pile of blackberry bushes, then darkness enveloped me. I then had a weird sensation running down my arms. I thought it was painful, and i was saying," ruby's(my dog) bitting me." Then i thought about it a little, thought it was weird, then noticed it was vibes, and then they became sensational(not painful) i then lost memory.

Sometimes when i'm doing energywork, i won't feel energy flow through my legs or torso as much as i do in my arms and shoulders up. Is that weird? I'm developing it, but any tips?

Everyone is different, but I see people have stronger sensations in their legs than in their arms.  I have about equal intensity in both- when I started the feet were very intense (almost painful) but no more.  Sometimes my hands feel 'more' and stay sensitive longer.
So basically, it changes as you improve flow.
I have no tips except to keep doing it, it eventually evens out, in the sense that the strong sensations will diminish or shift places.
