How do I build energy in my chakras?

Hi I want to open my chakras how to I put more energy in them?

This subject can get very in depth so I would recommend getting a book. New Chakra Healing is a good one. But to get you started you can sit in a chair place your feet on the ground and imagine pulling energy up through your feet and throughout your body. Also you can do deep breathing techniques. On inhalation imagine bringing good vibrant energy in and when exhaling imagine breathing out all negative "black" energy (visualizing colors is good, as colors coralate with the chakras). Also you can focus on the individual chakra bringing energy to that chakra only. If i remember right there is an order of importance and too much focus on one chakra can cause some undesired affects so again I recommend getting a book.

Buy a book or do a simple google search and start trying different things to find out what works best for you.

Technically you don't "put energy into a chakra" per se, since chakras act like portals for energy to flow into and out off. The energy flow stimulates them, they don't store energy - at least that's how I understand it.

There are so many different believe systems around chakras, that is why I suggest doing some exploring on your own to find a system/approach that you identify with.

(it is true the chakra doesn't hold the energy, that is stored primarily in your tan-tein.
