I don't know if you folks get it but the idea is that the placebo effect causes the etheric body to start a self-healing process.

That's what I was trying to get at, Tiny.
Most skeptics don't want to admit that, but some people have had cancer remission as a result of placebo- documented*.  I actually know of one personally.
