Question: Location of energy centre at thumb?

I've recently had minor acupuncture done, which included 'The Four Gates.' As you may or may not know (I'll mention just in case) acupuncture is based on the same bodily energy system that N.E.W. deals with.

The Four Gates, one on each hand and one on each foot. The hand points were at the fleshy part between the thumb and index finger, where it's thick as opposed to thin. Gently massage it between finger and thumb, and at some point you should feel a weird nerve sensation. That nerve center corresponds exactly with the energy center.

The foot is in a similar place. In between the big toe and the next, inward about half an inch to an inch.

Hmm... I thought there were minor chakras on the successive joints of the thumb and big toe..... I seem to remember reading that in RBs article.

I am new to NEW also. I did the four point opening tonight. I understood that the point was on the base of the thumb where the thumb bone joins the rest of the hand. It was that knuckle that is the special point and the same goes for the toes. Hope that helps.

Ok..... if you have Roberts book Astral Dynamics there is a nice drawing of one of the Secondary energy centers of the hand on page 132 showing where the little energy vortex's are. It seems that every joint in your body is a location for minor or secondary energy centers (Chakras) there are large ones on the Big toes especially, and also the thumb, they are located at the joints and Flower to Four points on the skin as I see in the drawing Top Bottom and both sides of each joint in your Fingers, toes, knees, hips, ankels, wrists etc.  Hope that helps some.

Thanks all of you.  I got the book already.
Although I have pratice NEW for a few months, I still can't get clear feeling of energy.  I can feel the secondary energy at foot being active, but no energy is "generated"

I am new to NEW system and I have some basic question want to ask.

Where is the secondary energy centre at thumb and big toe.  Is it on the top(back) of  the hand or at the palm side of hand?  Same question to big toe.
