Regarding Constructs

I seen to be having some trouble giving commands to my constructs and letting them fly off to accomplish such, could i get some tips from experienced people?

For example, a shield, i cant seem to expand it big enough to make a shield, or give it the order for example, to tap someone on the shoulder for me

Well, honestly... this *is* just a forum.  And more importantly, it's a forum about "Astral Projection".
In my honest opinion several of our subforums should be removed due to being off-topic.  But meh...

If you don't find any particular resonating responses for your question, you could try a forum more geared towards your topic.

It's not a very direct question and hard to answer. It would be easier if you had a good example of what you want to do, something with a purpose to it. You say make a shield, but what are you trying to shield yourself from? Or why would you want it to tap someone's shoulder? It could simply be that you don't have your intentions properly set.

there comes a time when you have to stop projecting, and live in the reality that you are given and know for a certainty is real.  Projecting constructs into external reality is dangerous, as experienced manipulators can seize hold of their energy and establish a link to your own Core.

you don't form a construct in external reality.  It is not immediately a projection.  With the force of a properly motivated construct, it will go, return with task complete, and incubate in the recess of your mind until reactivated, recharged, or modified.  You can easily consider a aft approach to dealing with constructs, in that, your psychic forms are likened to constructing a mecha unit or cyborg.  Also in that line of thinking, like engineering a new car or some such.

I agree.  The intention is off.  When you are peeling our half formations of directed frontal burst waves, you lose energy, your Core is progressively weaker.  You have to firstly, focus in meditation, center, banish alien constructs, and then reflect with a heavy reflect and try to sustain the energy.  In this way, you can alert your time stream to the fact that you are stepping into the area of thought forms and servitors.  When all your parallel universes line up, a door opens, and cosmic events will transpire automatically out of preexisting constructs out of sheer manifestation of presence.

You can even construct entire realms.  You can tear open black holes.  Just be certain of what you want to do, think, meditate, gain insight into the craft.  Explore it with your thoughts and belief, and see that you are already interwoven with a construct, namely, the particle mass effect.  Primary grid for cosmic exploration.  If you want to build a construct, you have to remember that it is an extension of your psyche.  Some teachings are healthy to some, harmful to others.  Use your intuition, gain some empathic sensory and emotional energy.  You don't actually need constructs, you can gain everything you want simply by letting go of preconceptions.
