Hey Guys,
I hear great things about this man, Robert Bruce?
I'm not familiar with him, but I just signed up for video blog at AstralBob.com.
He says he has a new self-healing through energy work home study program.
Does anybody like him? I am thinking about getting it. My one friend is excited, but my other friend tries to tell me that energy work is dangerous, so I don't know what to do. Thanks.
Smiles, Hilary

I like him, I just don't agree with everything he claims. Welcome to the forums Hilary.

Energy work isn't dangerous, that's like saying exercise is dangerous.

OK so this is getting interesting, and thank you for the welcome.
What specifically do you not agree with so I know what I'm getting into here?

I don't know about Xanth, I just don't agree with his PSD solutions. I think it actually causes the symptoms to grow and hang on for a much longer time than need be. IMO, of course. I suppose I have nothing against energy work, just the neg thing.

What specifically do you not agree with so I know what I'm getting into here? Specifically? I'll just mention two issues for now... His insinuation that "energy work" is required or helps a person to astral project and his "mind split" theory. Those are two things I disagree with him heavily on. But then again, don't just buy what I'm saying cause I'm saying it. Do what you feel is necessary to succeed.

@Xanth&Tiny
I had my first AP (into the RTZ actrually) before I had done ANY energy work, let alone even heard about it and how it is done.
So yes, you don't need EW to project or have similar experiences.
On the other hands it might support it. It's like doing exercise for becoming a better sprinter for example. But can't we even run without exercise? Of course, but not with as much speed, strength and stamina.
So I would not see a great controversy here. EW does help but it is NOT the unique pre-requisite or bottleneck you have to pass through to have OBEs and similar experiences. Many APers do APing without any energy or chakra work (at least so they claim).

Energy work is the only way you can have OBEs, get the book if you like the author but i recommend intuitively developing your energy work techniques.
kind regards,
Paul Don't fall into the trap of absolutes saying that something is the *ONLY WAY* for it to happen. It may be the only way *YOU* can have one... but not everyone. Cause I do none and project fine. So your theory just flew out the window. @Xanth&Tiny

That's a great way to put it. BTW... I LOVE the avatar. Penguin had it coming. LoL

I've only opened the links, I have not listened yet. I just wanted to say thanks for the links and comment on how I feel when I see Mr. Bruce sitting there. ... The one thing that confused me greatly as a newcomer to the astral projection/out of body scene back in 2000, was that many people thought (and expressed) in order to have a obe you had to have a vegetarian menu, no smoking, and no drinking. Seriously. Yet, when I saw pictures of Mr. Bruce back then,.well, he didn't seem to live by that rule and now looking at him I can see that he isn't in what you would call great "physical shape".. I stressed out for many months over that stupid perception. I mean no offense to Mr. Bruce, but damn. Does he still smoke ciggs too? This is what I mean about EVERYONE being different. I love my red meat and I loved my ciggs, yet I thought I was less and couldn't have great experiences. NOT TRUE people. Geez. .and that guy who is going on some kind of masturbation, sex free life?....?....? Good luck with that. I say masturbate all you want my friend, it's all in your mind.

Thanks for this, I've never seen him speak. He is wearing a Q-link! yeah, but it's a tiny bit to ostentatiously, if you ask me he seems to be an 'endorser' for this product but I don't hold this against him actually, I have a Q-link myself
