Wanking and astral projection? experiment?

Hey guys ,
well without a doubt i wank alot probally 6 times a day sometimes if i dont have sex.
anyways i am starting a new health regime and i had time to kill during workout sets so i decided to search up wether wanking is good or bad for you.
upon finding its not bad i also found out that it uses alot of bio-energy .
i did nt know what bio-energy is and since its 2am i did nt really care but nevertheless i just googled it and whilst reading numerous articles i scanned 2 keywords of great interest.....aura and astral body.
one website claims that bio-energy is the same as the astral body.

so i thought well.....if i dont wank for a week ..noit even once....."how am gonna do tht ,god only knws haha"
then i will have more bioenegry so the more you have of something the easier it is to use.

so maybe the less i wank the more i project

so if anyone else wants to join in this experiment and not wank for at least a week and record how many projections you have using the same methiod all the way through it will be interesting to see wether it we get good results or just the same

Forget about it, when you do energy work and activate your astral body, sexual desires so strong will hit you, they will be irresistible cus sex will be the only thing you'll desire and so you'll "give a flying F" about astral projection in that moment.

The amount of "vital energy" you spend on a sex session depends on how much passion and focus you put in that moment, the mere act of it doesn't simply spill energy like...goo.

you may want to ready yourself to decline sexual advances there, as well. 

you'll still have to do AP work, especially to move the energy from your lower areas up to higher ones, esp. the throat, so you can project with it rather than have it sit as chakra #2 and torment you!

Why is sexual desire so strong in humans........i could possibly understand physically but how monroe describes it as been a sorta drive that kicks in on his early projections makes it curious to what our sexual drive really is.

I was gonna mention Monroe's entire chapter in his first book... then I also remembered John Magnus speaking about it as well in, I believe, an entire chapter in his book too.

Our "sexuality" is such a driving force in our lives... it'd be silly to think that it wouldn't be incorporated into our subconscious mind, and at some point manifest in the non-physical. 

But as Monroe found, it's not about ignoring it... it's about learning to work with it and accepting it.

and yeah i suppose your right Xanth but today i bought up the topic of sex to my psychology teacher.
i mean sex is just a split second orgasm its not like the masses of pleasure described by numerous people...thats just called exagerating lol.
so then what makes the whole world or most of it wanna just have sex.

i told my pyschology teacher that i thought it might be postive reinforcement that drives us to have sex such as the person who is been woowed feels good cause she/he is attractive in the other persons eyes and she/he also gets postive rewards or reinforcements by playing psychological games off having the other person chasing after them and by the other persons commitment to that game
whislt as the person who is doing the chasing once they finally have sex with the other person they may feel good about themselves for having there effort put to good use.

whislt as my psychology teacher said no nope no the reason we want sex is because we have a reproductive drive that is innate and biologically preprogrammed and that we follow subconsiously even when we consiously have sex for some reason or other its only because our subconsious wants us to reproduce and spread our seed so our traits and what ever we inherit also passes on to the child.

but i dunno about any of that i mean if he is right then why should sex have anything to do with the astral why should sex exsist in the astral at all if its only a subconsious drive.

Although you probally all got pictures of me doing it 6 times a day and been incrediblly horny am actually not horny at all and never ever have wet dreams but when i project sometimes i have an intimate feeling and experience with a figure in my projection although it resembles nothing of the physical type.

when she is there or it is there as it has been since child hood it feels as if the person is from an exotic place and that i could spending an entire century exploring her personality , body and knowledge and yet still know everything abotu her from one touch.
i feel bliss as if this is paradise.
but wether sex actually occurs i cant say its more like a blending as if no actrions happen at all except both of our guards or lowered in terms of secrets and personality so that we both give the go ahead for one another to be explored to the fullest without anyboundaries and that at this point there is no us and only....well not even an i.....rather just a moment just a now were we are nt two seperate people embeded in the hands of time but rather we are time and otside of the world created from blending there is nothing at tht present moment

He's right in the fact that there is a strong biological make-up that drives us to have sex. That doesn't mean that the love experienced in it is not real! Also, there is a lot more to sex than just biological make up. The emotions experienced are complex and sophisticated. Obviously, one cannot become pregnant in the astral, so "sex" serves a different purpose-- and I am guessing it is an emotional or metaphorical one...

There are Taoist techniques for redirecting this energy into the body upon orgasm so that energy is not lost... It takes a lot of practice, but it is rewarding... and no need for starving oneself for sex...

I wish to show my respect, and support for the OP- you are on to something indeed!..

I began a similar such project 10 years ago (yes 10 years ago) when beginning the yogic practice of brahmacarya.  Very simply, what I know now is that when energy is not released - dissipated - it's only course is to rise - long story short a K awakening is what resulted for me.  The force of the K rising is what initially began pulling me out of body.
