Combine this with my GERD, horrible stomach pains (which are linked to stress) My acid reflex is actually under control... Anxiety and paranoia... it's a wonder I can sleep at night.  huh

I broke my nose in an accident in the summer of 09 I believe it was. It may have been 11... it doesn't matter really. When I go to sleep at night or anytime I am laying down, usually one nostril will close all the way. I get nasal drip and horrible congestion. My allergies are horrible on top of this. I REALLY want to help get rid of these allergies... My cat I am sure doesn't help but she's my bud and won't be going anywhere cheesy I know this might sound a little nasty but I am always swallowing my own mucus and I know that this causes nausea as well. I'm sure not being able to breathe and always being stuffed up makes me lightheaded, which in return kicks up my hypochondria, and then next thing you know I am dryheaving not being able to breathe and in a full blown panic attack.

I am really trying to get rid of some of these minor health issues that could be making my anxiety worse. Not being able to breathe through one nostril and always being congested is no fun...

Everytime I say man I wish I didn't have these allergies somebody says (here have a pill!) I don't like pills anymore... I am off all of my medication for anxiety which I regret because I can no longer leave the house, but I am working on things. I am only on a stomach medication for acid reflex, but I just don't like meds... :/

Does anybody know any good natural remedies to ease this discomfort? I have a humidifier, I blow my nose almost all the time... but nothing seems to help.

I really appreciate it!

Would a humidifier work... creating moisture in the air?

Or does dehumidifying cause mucus to develop because of the lack of moisture in the air?

Adding garlic to your food can decrease mucus in the nose which wont make you popular but you don't go out much... which shouldnt be a problem. Cheesy

Also ginger in the form of a tea really helps.

Oil of Oragano also helps...  2tspn pf honey and one tspn of lemon juice mix it well and drink 3 time a day...

I just found the one above online.

The ginger tea works well.

My heart goes out to you... must be driving you up the wall. Sad

If you don't like tea, but like coca cola, you can heat it up with sliced up ginger in it. It sounds really weird, but it actually quite good. I always notice that carbonation helps my stomach when it is upset. I hope you feel better!
