Why does so many people die from this ? I know the scientific explication ... but why God hurts people who doesn't deserve that .

I know a girl who had a mother that died when she was 3 . Of cancer

Because even though it hurts so many people and it's very sad... Think about it, if everyone lived, there would be way too many people. But yeah, it should happen to bad people, not good people. But that's the way stuff happens...  cry

dont think of god as some kind of personality who decides weather or not lifeforms go through pain or not...  its certainly not hurting us or giving it to us, cancer is just a fact of life, its neither good nor evil.

All things follow the laws of nature which probably includes "god".. if  god is some kind of superman who comes to the rescue of anyone whos in pain or trouble then were not really in control of ourselfs at all.
i beleive cancer is a result of ones thoughts and lifestyle being far out of synch with what the deeper self seeks/wants.

imagine a musician wanting really badly to become a success, but finds hes stuck in a dead end job and seeming to be far from what he wants in life... i think this inner conflict of what you are in contrast to what you want to be is the cause of cancer, the greater the gap between them the more prone you'll be of developing it.

All these sicknesses that we (humans) are dieng from are a product of our actions.

Think back even a few hundred years, was there cancer? Nope

Think about everything we pump into the atmosphere on a daily basis, I mean everything, not just CO2 from cars. Im talking about the plastics, hair spray, glue, ect... All the chemicals we put into the air go somewhere.

We breath in these chemicals, no matter how minute the ammount. Foregn bodies, no matter how small, effect our body. Pick up a book on all the chemical compounds we have discovered, you would be surprised what some of them do to the human body in small ammounts

Take lung cancer for instance, people say its from smoking, but its not. Inhaling smoke does damage your lungs, but with maderation they heal quickly. Tar and a few other chemicals get built up in your lungs and assofigus(Sp?) and you will develop broncidas(sp again -_-) witch is basicly your body trying to rid itself of the buildup.

Have you ever seen the list of chemicals the tabbaco companies put in ciggerets? The list is HUGE! (Im talking hundreds) where does these go? they are what form the cancer.

We are the cause of our own demise, but we refuse to accept we are the cause. Ironic isn't it?

Like greenrat... I feel God is neutral to natural events such cancer and the like... not neutral in the uncaring sense... but in the sense that he allows it to happen because it is just the natural order as life is lived on this world.  If God intervenes in our earthly affairs... I feel it is a rare occasion.  I feel God is more interested in our spiritual affairs... a spiritual upliftment and soul-growth. Diseases and other evils will eventually be obliterated through progress in science and social advancement.  Some of my most educational and exhilarating experiences also entailed alot of anguish.  All of this time-space evil is temporary and eventually... through alot of pain... our planet will progress to a near heavenly estate... at least compared to the way it is now.  "God makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good... and sends rain on the just and on the unjust."

It is a multi-multi-billion dollar racket that makes the organized crime of gambling, prostitution and drugs look respectable.
IF it was not for this racket called Healthcare -- that has nothing to do with "health" -- dying from cancer would  be a good way to go.

Can you please cite evidence of this? As far as I know, cancer has been with us for our entire history (and the history of all species) and can be found in all species. Just because we didn't call it cancer hundreds of years ago because we didn't know what it was, does not change the fact it was cancer.

AIDS didnt exist hundreds of years ago, but that is common sense. Cancer is cell mutation, chemicals and radiation can mutate cells - neither were incorporated into everyday life prior to the industrial revolution.

Cells can naturally mutate. If they didn't the human race would be a race of clones.

Yup. Latest research into DNA shows that cells can mutate between generations, what I mean by this is that a parents lifestyle can actually trigger changes in genes which will be passed to children. For example, if someone has a traumatic life, this seeming trauma can be passed to children through gene triggers - so it's not just mutation which effects change down generations.

But mutation itself is the sole reason for the variety of life we see around us today, we wouldn't just be clones. We would still be chains of amino acids floating in liquid.

Just look at history and there are recordings of mutations, cancers etc reaching as far back as we can see.

You're thinking of mutation in an evolutionary sense, I'm talking about radioactive and chemical mutation, which are not evolutionary - which show a correlation between industrial and pollution levels with cancer rates. AIDSs and lung cancer must have existed long before ciggarettes according to your reasoning.

Aids might have existed for a very long time as it seems it might have crossed over from another species. And there has been records of masses in lungs (Cancers) and other body parts for aslong as we have had any form of medical research (even of the macabre kind).
I will fully admit that incident rates of such diseases have increased with the onset of the industiral revolution and such, but that doesn't stop the fact the lungs and other body parts had the potential to be cancerous for as long as we've had them.

I hate to say that, having studied anthropology, and in the last 8 years attended a couple of conferences on precolumbian (native american) settlements, that skeletons recovered from such sites had metastatic cancer in their bones, quite a few of them.  These were hunter-gatherer settlements, this particular one were part of the oyster midden cultures in the southeast.  This indicates that preindustrial people got cancer, so even though I'm sure we get more due to emf and pollution, cancer was not invented by modern civilization.
(unlike AIDS, in my opinion.)
