If there is no karma belief, than why bother with the self judgment? And why bother coming to this plane to begin with?  Do you believe in learning lessons, or are we here just to satisfy our own ego?

I believe we're here to simply experience in a different way than our natural state of being is.

I see it like this... as a spiritual being who isn't afflicted with any of the "physical reality" limitations that we have to put up with (survival, hunger, emotions, etc) how do you experience things?  How does someone explain what "hunger" is to an immortal spiritual soul?  The questions that arise out of answering that will feed a hundred more questions... while it's just easier to experience it. 

It's probably very much along the lines of why we tell people who come here asking for proof of astral projection that they should learn to experience it for themselves... cause explaining it just takes too long.

Perhaps, as immortal spiritual beings... we're just really REALLY bored and live out these lives as a way to entertain ourselves.  LoL

I was merely asking questions and it seems Xanth does not like answering them.  I think it's great to have an opinion, but it's usually just as great to tell why, instead of saying you just don't feel like explaining yourself.  Of course this is my opinion and I'm once again, merely stating it. 

I'm afraid that your behaviour is what Xanth likes to call instigating, so I would appreciate if you would discontinue, unless we can be assured that no one will be banned for their opinion, in that case, I'll be more than happy to continue said conversation.

My god, I feel like I'm stuck in some really bad after school special.  

And why is it OK and not against the rules for you to instigate me?  But that aside, I'm trying to understand why you believe what you believe.   I didn't understand you because you didn't answer my question.  If you disagree with what I had to say then fine, that's cool, but instead of acting like some victim, explain why you don't think that.  For example, I quoted you saying, "Here's a thought...Perhaps, as immortal spiritual beings... we're just really REALLY bored and live out these lives as a way to entertain ourselves.  LoL" and I said that I thought that WAS satisfying the ego.

The question is, can you learn it?  It requires detachment and concentration, and some degree of a peaceful environment to be able to do something with it- so I really don't think you have the emotional energy to cultivate it.  So, if I were you, I'd work on many other things before considering this.
