hello all! long time lurker, recent joiner here (by long I mean since '04), joined years back, forgot the old account's password, don't care for the old name anyway so, made a new one!

anyways, I've come because I'm finding myself frustrated with what seems to be a lack of progress in projections.

patience yes I know is needed. However I had been trying to project on and off throughout the years, and recently interests in certain types of fictional worlds has spurred me on to visit them astrally- which should help my actual astral projection ability.

the other thing that frustrates me, besides a lack of progress, is lacking a found method to consciously astral project. all my (mostly near) projections otherwise were on accident or had been done when I had gained lucidity in dreams.

I want to project consciously! not from dreams all the time, I wanna get better at projecting so I can do it at will!

I have a feeling that time is gonna be the answer, but yet I feel frustrated cause I've spent enough of it half-heartedly trying so I feel like I'm stuck in kindergarten for the fourth year in a row so to speak.

although it's not completely fruitless, Recently I've had a few nights where I've heard what sounded like a feminine voice calling out my name. I tried to respond to the voice mentally the second time it happened, but I didn't get any response, I'm not sure if I even managed to send a response.

I'll be writing up my projection experiences and putting them in the appropriate folder soon.

I have had a very few projections i have never had one from a dream. All mine have been conscious. Like yourself i get frustrated every now and again at what seems little progress. I will sit back and look at whats going on and what basic error i could be making i always find there is something i can improve on. I do as much research as i can. In 4 months of learning what Astral projection is and having my first accidental experience i have read Robert Monroe's collection of books, Franks notes and various guides. It will pay off if you put the time in good luck.
