An introduction ;)

Hello , this is my first post.

 I just wanted to introduce myself becouse I have the feeling  I will be spending quite a lot of time in here.
So my name is Billy and I am a 19 year old from Greece, I have been interested in OBE's for quite a lot of time , however I never found
the time to commit to a lifestyle that would be focusing on OBE's. But now I realise almost noone else but monks can really have that kind of a lifestyle.

 Thats why I wanted to ask how do you think I sould start in order to have some continuous progress? For now all I have done is read some articles and tried to meditate sometimes with no succes of OBE's (I have had lucid dreams though). Should I keep on like that? Also I am a student and I do live a students life... I get drunk sometimes among other things, could that slow down the progress singnificaly? Is it a neccesity to start a comepletely diferent lifestyle in order to have progress?

For starters you might want to read as many threads in the "Welcome to the Astral FAQ" forum as possible. The next step would be to select one OBE induction method and use that method to try to go out of body for about two weeks. Just keep trying different methods every few weeks until something works. It might take several weeks or even several months so try to be patient and stay focused.
