and should I be aware of my 3rd eye before trying this? cause I do have a hard time with focus >.> so I am not sure if I know how to tap into my 3rd eye

So last night I tried this thing where you stare at a candle for 2 minutes, then close your eyes and follow the light till it stops and that is where your 3rd eye is located. almost immediately after I started focusing on my 3rd eye, my whole body started to tense up to the point I was shaking, as if I could feel massive amounts of energy flowing through me. I did not continue focusing on it for very long because I was afraid something bad might have happened. Do you have any idea why this happened, and is it normal for that to happen?
I also would Like the spell, I couldnt even get the chanting a word over and over to work, my mind gets way to distracted v.v;

as long as it is normal >.> cause I got scared. It felt like my body wanted to explode almost lol
