Hello everyone, my name is Vrishni. I come from Florida and I am 21 years old. I don't know if a spiritual awakening and AP/OBE/SP work hand-in-hand, but I think I'm going through an awakening.

I've been feeling a lot of weird emotions and thoughts plague my mind that I've never really had bother me.

I feel a cornucopia of negativity as well when fear hits me.

I would like some help and some advice as to how to cope with the disturbing characteristics that come with an awakening.

It is very frightening and I try to calm myself down but it only works for so long.

Please, any suggestions. ANYTHING will help!

Hallo vsandova and welcome.
Spiritual awakenings affect different people in many different ways. So it may take some time before you can fully integrate what is happening and feel comfortable with it.
Fear is one of the "barriers' you must deal with. Most people must deal with fear when facing the unknown. Try not to let fear get the better of you. Fear and weird emotions can cause a lot of confusion and as you said, negativity. So it might be a good idea do to do a Lot of reading and look for something that appeals especially to you. This might be OBEs, or it might be lucid dreaming or it might be something else entirely. Whatever you find attracted to then stay with that one thing for awhile and become good at it. Later you can experiment with other activities that you feel less comfortable with.

Wow! It's funny you mentioned to look and read! I was just doing that all day.

I decided to focus on practicing lucid dreaming and pushing forward to astral projections!

And as for the fear, it is something that I am slowly overcoming, but with words of encouragement like yours, I will be able to laugh at fear.
