I'm Julia.  I'm 21 and have been astral travelling since I was 5 or so, but I've only recently learnt to do this voluntarily (from a hypnagogic state).  I’m still trying to figure out how to stay lucid for longer than 5-10 minutes - I tend to just drift off into a dream after a short time.

I'm looking forward to talking with others who've had similar experiences.  I’m really glad this board exists, I think it’s an incredibly helpful resource.

Hi anguisette and welcome to AstralPulse.
You are like many other people here in that you had many OBEs as a child. Then, as a person grows older, (into the early high school years say) the ability to go out of body seems to disappear. This is what happened to me. Then, as an adult, the skill to go out of body must be "learned" all over again. Yet it is well worth the effort to reacquire that skill !
