I suggest you ask him what the goal in the exercise is (unless he has already told you). I see a lot of spiritual people taking on too much at a time. If your goal is to astral project or have OBE's then learn everything you can about that. I think its better to learn and practice one spiritual thing at a time, don't jumble up your mind! hehe
