Hi, new to the forum, decided to join it after I had my first ap experience but never got around to it.

My first (and only so far) astral projection experience happened in Nov. of last year. I have been interested in astral projection and lucid dreaming, but I had never been able to achieve either of them. I guess you could say i'm not naturally "loose." Anyways, I was kind of tired (it was midday, around 12) and I decided to take a nap. I closed my eyes, and drifted off into this weird trace that I sometimes fall into when i try to sleep in the daytime(it might be sleep paralysis because I get that sometimes before I go to sleep). I began to feel real light, and at some point I felt like I was watching myself sleep from inside myself (sounds weird, i know). I then began to get this weird sense of vertigo and felt like i was spinning, but i couldn't see anything. The next thing i remember was standing in the middle of my room, with my eyes open. The first thing i noticed was that it was dark. almost like nighttime, which was strange because i took the nap at noon. When i looked around, i saw my body in bed (the back of my head was showing). the next thing i remembered after that was waking up from the strange experience.

So that's my first and only experience, haven't had another one yet, although I defiantly want to.

Anyways, after that experience i sort of slacked off on the road to finding my spiritual self until i stumbled upon something completely by accident. I found a you tube channel called Infinite Waters (perhaps you have heard of it wink?) The man, Ralph Smart, is amazing. He has totally changed my perception of how my life has been going, and I think it is time to change it.

I've begun the process of switching to a raw food diet. It is a very gradual process. I've started out by incorporating more vegetables and healthy food into my junk food diet. I think my plan is to slowly go from regular diet-vegetarian-vegan. It will be a hard process but I want to do it.

So anyways, that's my brief background story on the subject. I hope to be a constructive and enthusiastic member of the forum, bye for now.
