About two months ago, I felt this huge anticipation, which I now recognize as the quiet before the storm. Won't go into details here, but shortly after, my life as I knew it ended. This launched me on the journey I now face (or has it all been part of the same journey all along?) and, in part, led me here. I am here to learn about and help myself. I am interested in energy and expanding (or gaining) my understanding of certain topics.

It's nice being able to now look back and understand what I was doing as a kid, naturally, it seems. Children are so open minded, it's awesome.

I'm from Portland(Oregon?)!! I'm still young (not a child) but realizing early on what my childish experiences were about. I've believe I've been put on a certain path for sure. I mean just today I had finally played out the events in my last dream. So where will my next dream lay me? How about you, what is your path looking like right now?

Yup, Oregon! Recent events have made me change my view on much of what I believed (not related to OBE), and threw me back into a lot of the topics discussed here. I didn't really have an interest in practicing astral projection until a couple of days ago when I stumbled across these forums, so I am brand spanking new to it. Well, the actual study and practice of it. I am pretty familiar with the mind awake/body asleep feeling, used to happen fairly often in my late childhood- early teens. Or sometimes my legs would feel... out of place. Feel like they were crossed when they were not, etc. My mom offered to take me to the doctors for it, haha.
Anyways, lots of synchronicities in my life lately pointing me on my spiritual journey. One I think I have always been on, I just got a little side tracked. Life presented me with chaos to nudge (shove) me back into action. So, here I am! Right now I am all about self discovery and gaining an understanding of energy. I hope to one day use my understanding to the benefit of others.
